This was a very helpful video. I just purchased the Gree wifi module and my unit does not have the blue plug to plug it into. Although my remote control has the wifi symbol. I downloaded the free app and it will not get past the set up. The remote beeps but does not connect the unit. Is there a way to get it on my app?

You have been lucky connecting the device so quick. You have to see the reviews on Google Play about this stupid aplication. Tried about one hour an half to connect it and is not working, is not connecting to the router. I have other smart devices like central heating, mesh system, smart plugs and lights.... all are working fine and was easy to connect them. So Gree+ app is garbage.

Thanks for the demo on reversing valves. Mine is 12 years old, and it is stuck in heat mode. I can't seem to find one like it, and back orders are approximately 140 days, so I was wondering if I could use a powerful rare earth magnet to free it up. What do you think?

Alright I got this to work. The only drawback is I cannot fake the control board when set to two stage not sure how to fake this route maybe another relay? By the way I saw another training video a while back and I had a question on what should be between ground and the wire off the relay side. I was told to put a diode and resistor between the line off the relay and ground to simulate the pulsed DC current that the flame rod does into the flame and to ground. Edited, got it all figured out. The first stage needs power to the relay as well so when first stage fired up the flame sensor was not getting power from the relay only 2nd stage. I wired it so each stage will apply power to relay when it’s time. Thanks!

Do you know how to wire this on a Trane communicating furnace? There is no aux wiring input on the board.

Followed it, found out it had the wifi for some odd reason hitting mode and turbo on the remote isn’t activating or resetting the wifi. Either way I switched it to the new one thinking it didn’t have one thinking the wifi part wasn’t working. Can’t get a beep on the remote to start the whole wifi connection process.

I have a heating air to water inverter Versati II. Officially it does not support wifi, but I know thay do. The guy who can install wifi module is asking 500bucks for that work. I know is not worth it. Can not find anything on Internet in regards to this matter from Gree, howverer one official retailer says that Versati 2 has this as an option. Great full for any help.

May I use this wifi Gree module on a different brand such as Lennox?

My livo+ has the yellow sticker “WIFI Included”. So this means I already have DB’s wifi module correct? I know you stated the plus model doesn’t have it, but you said if the sticker is on the box (and in the side of unit) it’s included.
