my favorite game ever is dragons dogma dark arisen simply because in wholeness their combat with big monsters and being able to stagger collapse and effect enemies in a variety of different ways feels more immersive but elden is number 2 and by all metrics their story is better and animations are on point. so many good things to say about elden but it has become my favorite narrative of all time . like while DDDA is my favorite game elden ring is my favorite narrative story of all time . incredible work GRRM and Miyazaki ❤

by far the coolest chestpiece with best stats and great poise. And yet it’s farmed off of a hardest enemy in endgame with low chance. I once spent around 2 hours to get this chestpiece

I don't get why split damage is lower. Each part should be calculated against its respective defense and that should be it.

My biggest complaint when it came to elden ring was there were no trash weapons. . . Like in a ranking and depending on your build of course their are arguably the best 2-3 weapon options. But almost everything that you pick up is B+, A, or A+. . . A starter dagger at the beginning of the game with base stats does pretty much the same as end game dagger. . . Obviously it's not as strong as a boss weapon or great axe but compared to other daggers the stat changes are nearly meaningless, and thats acroff all weapon classes. Almost every item you pick up is gonna be just as good as the one you already had. It's so bad it comes down to almost having to mid max to get like 10% more damage out of just random junk you picked up on the way. Why waste your time leveling up this cool new sword when yours is already plus 6 or the new one maxed out only does 17 more damage per swing. . . Especially when it still takes the same number of hits to kill mobs! Give me broken straight swords, or bent thief daggers, or a twin blade that breaks if you swing it more than 14 times . . . Now it's like, oh another straight sword and it has the same move set, is it cooler looking or lighter than mine already? Eh kinda, do I want to go level it up? I'd have to go buy more rank 7 gems, I'll pass.

He's cake. Use a great shield and a medium/heavy weapon, and you can Block Counter him to death with ease.

Since i beat Elden Ring: beat Elden Ring 3 times, beat Dark Souls 3, platinum Bloodborne, just beat O&S on Dark Souls 1

They need to rework some of the in game weapons. Like why can't I infuse my staff with sertin ashes of war. The glint stone and carian grandour ash of war or shared order, golden vow, endor. So many things that just don't make sense. If a weapon has a basic skill on it than why can't I give it an ash of war? If it's a none magic/elemental type weapon, why can't I infuse it with a buff, just because it's somber? The system has a clear favoritism with some stuff and other things are just useless. Like bows or flails, Dog water.

I just started my 4th playthrough and it's ng+ and this is the first time I've ever tried bloodhounds claws which are spectacular especially with cragblade, which is also a first time use for me, love it btw. And also this is the first time I've used the starfists and they are amazing! I added cragblade and HOLY SHIT! I have stunned enemies whose stance I've never been able to break. The lobster, rune bears, those crazy lions with the swords, bosses, and just one shotting/stance breaking all kinds of enemies across the whole damn map. I still have other weapons I like to use, but this those 2 weapons with cragblade are definitely the go to. I have frost or poison(depends on who I'm fighting) on the bloodhounds claws and they do huge poison/frost damage and bleed and the starfists with bleed do huge damage. The only weapon that can compete is bloodfiends arm. That said I still love all the flashy weapons, they're wonderful. But those 2 weapons with that ash of war are out of control. I'll have to buy a shitload of prawns from that guy at boilprawn shack and then beat him and his balls later tonight(lol). I want those balls hahaha.

In my playthrough I jumped off the edge where this guy standing and used dragon breath while I was afloat😅 After killing him I was thinking "Hmm another banished knight is cooked yeah!" untill I saw this video lol 😂

I have to diasgree with you on that. His moveset is actually really simple. At least it was for me. All his attacks are well telegraphed and if you paid attention in the Margit fight you can see half his combos coming. I beat bro first try in my first run without staggering him once. Just hit. Dance around a little. Hit again. Rinse. Repeat. Then he dies. Like every other Souls Boss ever.

Counter point: the star fists are just as strong and don't require you to kill your bro

… what’s the statistics of weapons actually being used? Cause it feels like 90% of weapons are unused, either there’s a better version or it’s so ludicrous there’s no point using them. Some of them are a piece of art and completely useless

Dragon Greatclaw is the quintessential disappointment weapon in Fromsoft Games as a whole. After all these years playing these games I haven’t felt a sting quite like that one… Poor *dexterity* scaling on an obvious strength weapon, stuck with Endure (trash), and has no unique attacks despite belonging to a boss with one of the coolest movesets. So frustrating! I hate it! Also the shield is the same way!
