Multi Vessel Procession (Festa de Nossa Senhora de Piedade) Madeira 2023
มุมมอง 5910 หลายเดือนก่อน
Recorded in Madeira on 18/9/23. The tradition of Festa de Nossa Senhora de Piedade celebrates the safe return of a boat of fishermen after they were lost in a storm at sea. The sailors prayed to Our Lady and, after managing to find their way back to harbour, decided to build the chapel in her honour. The feast is celebrated during the third weekend of September each year. Along with the boat pr...

The inner city is a hole, with people sleeping rough everywhere.
Thanks 🙏
I remember the Farmers building when it was still a department store. I used to love taking the escalators to the top floor, where Hector the parrot lived, and there was a kids' playground. There was also an exit to a timber lookout, where you could get a view of the city from several floors up. Oooh, exciting! This was back in the day when the thing that dominated the skyline was the museum, as you sat on the bus from the North Shore and crossed on the harbour bridge (two lanes in those days). Downtown Auckland bewilders me these days. I recognise only the buildings that have thankfully survived, smothered as they are by high rise modernist monstrosities. Bah, humbug.
what in the chatgpt is this garbage
This AI song is outrageous tf lmao
at timestamp 3:06 you see back in the old days the park was filled to the brim with people. nowadays when there are heaps more people in the city and you still only see a couple of people at the park... so strange.
i was boorn in 2008 and seeing waht auckland city used to look like vs now just show how time flies
Used to be a nice place now a concrete jungle full of arseholes
Checkout Auckland city hotel, 157 Hobson street
You forgot to add the made with ai tag
AI music, come on man.
The song is gold
Try finding construction photos of these wonderful buildings
Great work! Can I upload this to Bilibili so that my mom can see it, since she lives in China and doesn't know how to use a VPN?
Super bizarre music
I think its AI Generated
Yeah AI I think
Mvp!greetings. Like- total excellent recording!
suno is a great piece of software
what in the AI is that audio abomination
Born in AUCKLAND in 1959 great city once now with a hyphenated name and full of woke wankers starting with the council
what a shitty song choice
cool photos though
@@cooprr4218 Yep. But no sign of any video .....
Are you kidding me? The whole point is that is suits the photos.
that was awesome
Nicely done.
Ahh i miss the greasy old downtown Auckland, especially Fort Street porn shops and strip club's like Happy Chappys and the Firehouse and the Spacey arcades like Yifans under MidCity and Hollywood's where you could get all sorts of drugs, If you knew who to go to. I miss my youth.
Thanks for putting this together. Love the old Auckland. It's so beautiful. I fail to understand why everything is getting worse and uglier when we are getting more advanced. Especially the CBD, I don't even want to go there unless I have to.
lived in Auckland ( Devonport ) from 1974- 82, I haven't been back since. What a change to Queen st and K road.
Oh it has changed lots
nice
Wow what a great find! Excellent video and incredible channel.
Thanks for your support @RicPuzzles
@@mvpnzl you’re most welcome!
What a mess they've made of our city.
what in particular?
@@ABoxIsMyHome Where to start, how about the ports. Should have been moved out of the city 30 years ago, just as Sydney did .
@@Kiwi_Dave Ah right good point I agree, I was expecting you to say like ruined by bike lanes and bus only roads haha
@@ABoxIsMyHome That asd well, Quay St perfect example, along with shutting down Queen St - To add shutting down Queen St while Albert St still closed, absolutely ridiculous.
@@Kiwi_Dave what would be your dream design while still handling the mass increase population of the cbd?
Wow this brings me back! The 20s were amazing time to be around!
how old are you, 100?
@@ABoxIsMyHome yes correct! The 20s were legit time to be around m8.
@@bigthinker281 not sure if that’s sarcasm haha I don’t believe you that would be an incredible feat let alone be able to use TH-cam 😅 if your telling the truth that is awesome
@@ABoxIsMyHome they could also be 4 years old - you know how great with computers the young-ins are these days!
@@mvpnzl haha yeah. anyways great video from u
Back when Auckland was a beautiful city.
Good
What a great video. Thank you so much
Fascinating. Thanks!
so mesmerising, the good ol days.
Well done , the song was a great piece too
❤. Auckland the man, a real man. Comes from Calcutta, India, in a horrid condition, nobody no where it is.
This is amazing!
nice
Wow fantastic! Great match dissolves. AI track had me going, not sure what to think about that.
Great work!
Thank you
I really enjoyed this. The backing track was perfect. Very cool. Thank you so very much. ❤
Thanks @AilsaPehi
interesting video
For real. Is it AI or something haha
Just came across this. Fantastic video
awesome! you should add the former hotel cargen at 8 Eden Crescent! It is a beauty built in the 1880s but has been sitting derelict for a decade now
Thanks @swithheld9905, do you have any old photos of the building? I need the old one before transitioning to the new one.
The less white it becomes the worse it gets
Wow, some really great memories i do remember. thanks for the video.
How old are you??!!
Excellent. So much has gone, nice to see what remains.
AI has a long way to go.
Funny that this pops up in my suggestions after a recent trip 'down under' where I looked for this effect but came up with 'undefined' in all cases which I'm ruling due to the design of modern low water use toilets. Thanks Greta, you've thrown a wrench into a perfectly good waste of time purely for scientific reasons. 🤪
Thanks, I would have used larger bodies of water, but most places I stayed didn't have bathtubs.
Great stuff, loved it.
