EVERY New Golfer Should Do This! (I forgot to upload this one!)
มุมมอง 8721 วันที่ผ่านมา
If you've just started out (like me! 3 weeks in now!) you need to know your distances... If you can go to a simulator thats grand, but you don't need to, you can do this on a course. Book yourself a tee time, and each hole, just bang a few different clubs off the tee. Using an app (I use Hole 19, but there's plenty of free tracker apps) you can work out your rough distances with each, and carry...

In this video, I’m hitting the @Foresight_Sports_ #golf #simulator to work on my swing and testing out some new anti-slice golf tees. Slicing can be a big problem for beginners (myself included), so I’m excited to see if these tees can really help straighten out my shots. I’ll break down how they work, test them in the simulator, and share my thoughts on whether they make a difference. If you’r...

มุมมอง 92128 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video, I discuss why new #golfers should avoid using the #driver until they’ve learned the fundamentals of a proper #golf swing. While the driver can be tempting, it’s often challenging to control and can lead to frustration for beginners. Mate don’t mean to be rude but how tall are you? Your irons look about an inch on the short side. Stick with it though, it’s a great game

@@al1356 6ft 7! 😂 Once I can swing properly I’m going to get fitted and sort new new clubs out 👍 I’ll get there! (Hopefully)

Oh, David! You talked yourself out of the correct club from the 2nd tee. Just recap what you were saying on the 1st, about how you chose the 4 clubs! Thanks for the shout-out, by the way! I'm going to keep watching until you get to a single-figure handicap...if i live long enough! 🤣🤣🤣

Allow yourself a few extra seconds over the ball before hitting. You're rushing and ruining your chances. A pre-shot routine is absolutely vital. Get comfortable, get aligned, relax a bit, THINK! It will easily enable you to lower your scores, I promise!

Good luck with your chanel. If you play real golf one ball where all shots count you should get more subs. (save the multiple balls for off camera practise if that is what you want to do) No matter how bad you think you are playing, there will be thousands out there who can relate.Your biggest fault is early extension hence thins pulls etc etc,not a criticism just trying to help.Couple of pro lessons is your best bet for better golf .Good luck.

Unfortunately tee's don't fix swing path and face angle which is the cause of a slice. You can somewhat fix a slice with a draw bias driver, weighting the heal of the driver, using low spinning balls or cheating with lubricant / chap stick on the face of the driver. All those options would help reduce a slice much more effectively than a tee.

Hi Dave, keep up the good work. I think I mentioned before about the length of your clubs, you are going to struggle with getting a consistant strike with them as they are. It will be a huge benefit to your game to get this sorted as soon as possible. Unfortunately it will mean either getting new custom fitted clubs or changing the shafts in the clubs you are playing. The important thing is to keep hitting the shot(s) that will encourage us back to the course for our next golfing adventure. All the best Steve

Hi Dave, good luck with your venture into the world of golf. You are doing the best thing by getting lessons sooner rather than later. I'm sure a PGA Professional will get you on the right track. He will, I am sure, advise you to get custom fitted clubs as you are so tall you will need extra long shafts in all your clubs to help with a consistant strike. Once again good luck with your golfing adventure. Cheers Steve

Thanks! Before I started I can honestly say I didn’t realise how difficult a game it was! I am enjoying it, and I’m trying not to let frustration set in! 😂 I work on my swing… think I’m getting better, then slice every shot after that! But I’ll keep going… good luck yourself, I hope you’re doing better than me 😊
