How do you decide which player is on which team ?

Is there any point to reversing the ranking of the number cards in the round suits? They are all worth the same number of points, so it seems to me to just add needless complexity. It isn't like Swiss Jass where a Bottom-Up bid reverses rank, but the point values remain the same such that the weakest cards in a Bottom-Up game are worth more. Thus, in Jass the rank reversal serves to alter one's play strategy, whereas in Tarocchi it seems to do nothing.
