@@OceanKoLDSoL Thanks man! OTG is low-key the hardest MK for me after this, lol. One of the times I failed, I had the Goose, the giant, Night Hunter, and Pitcher all over me at the same time. I was dodging them for a while until the giant grabbed me and threw me towards the Goose, and she fisted me instantly after I got up. Talk about brutality! XD

I always get anxious too around here but it helped to have that locker in the dark nearby the stage to look for the colors safely :p trust me I was worried I had to complete it on a third attempt so I took as much time as I could to keep an eye out for him

@@OceanKoLDSoL co-op is like gambling. Sometimes you get good or bad player on group. If stay together came up, it could be no problem or worse at all.

@chaveza.p.2936 shoot with stay together even with good friends it could be quite tough. Dashi was telling me that he got it with psychosis damage and that was super difficult haha

@@OceanKoLDSoL Oh yeah, definitely. It's gonna be really hard to beat this time. I did a casual Escalation run with 3 other friends over the weekend and it took us over 6 hours just to complete 40 trials, lol. We got Stay Together many times and almost every single one of those trials was a struggle on the higher rounds. We got PTP with Ultra, Stay Together, No Items in Trial, and Limited Rig at round 40, which ended up taking nearly an hour and we almost had a team wipe, lol. Since when did Escalation get so hard? XD

@Dashiawia probably just unlucky with all those Stick Together variators haha that one is pretty devastating ngl. Experienced myself playing with friends and we couldn't make it x) props to u and ur mates for going so long!

@@OceanKoLDSoL Haha thanks! Yeah, Stay Together on its own isn't too bad, but when paired with stuff like Bad Trip II and Psychosis Damage it becomes a real problem, lol. Any shock damage from the variator itself immediately puts you into full Psychosis, along with other enemies that can attack you in Ultra. Ouch!

Literally the worst combination I could have got for that trial I had such a hard time finding Time Extenders. I watched Kotz do a No Running challenge and he got Countdown PTP and somehow found more than I did lol

@@OceanKoLDSoL Lol true. Getting Countdown on arguably the longest main trial is pretty bad RNG, ngl XD. Unironically, the fact that you were speedrunning probably made you miss some of those Time Extenders, lol. But dang! A no stamina challenge on PTP with Countdown sounds absolutely insane. As expected from Kotz, I suppose. LOL

@Dashiawia I got PTM on my latest run and did it under 17 minutes which was really nice haha. Yeah I do think at some point PTM or PTP will be reset points when the time gets lower

@@OceanKoLDSoL Nice man. Under 17 mins is crazy for PTM. I assume you weren't going for A+ in that run because I sure as hell can't get a sub 20 A+ speedrun for PTM on Psychosurgery, lol.

@OceanKoLDSoL just did a 35 trial run and got it in 4 hours 50 minutes or close to that. It's exhausting to do especially with main trials

I just realized that no revives means no respawn too. at first I thought it's just no syringes/revive pills at all on the trials. Self revive can be the counter to no revives in escalation after I read the articles. Maybe last chance can be option too, but need to test it on trials 🤔.

Merry Belated Christmas to you too Dashi! Yeah, I was happy to get it even if it wasn't my first try on PTM. I wouldn't dare try to flawless the Poison trials that sounds difficult af haha. I did find myself hiding multiple times from Pitcher. I feel it's much harder to not get damaged now because of him. I'm just glad this event is gonna be over soon; I get pretty tired of hiding lol

Yeah, getting flawless on those Poison trials took me a while to develop consistent strats for them, but now I can do them pretty consistently, although definitely not fast lol. I have no choice but to sacrifice speed for consistency here. And yeah, Pitcher can come out of nowhere and ruin a perfect run if you're not paying full attention to the game. I feel you though. I don't mind hiding as a mechanic to avoid enemies, but having to do it every 2 mins definitely gets tiring after a while lol.

Especially headshotting enemies with projectiles! That's what you would see me do on Psychosurgery A+ if I get hit too much haha. Along with using batteries and other items that will help mitigate the demerits! Thanks for sharing this Aries :)

Enraged Enemies is the reason why I took it slow on this event haha. Escalation trials helped prepare me for what was to come :p Thanks for checking out the video Dashi! I'll be coming back for Part 2 in a couple of days :) Also I thought it was weird that I completed Fuel the Release with an A but the game said I completed it with an A+? I just went ahead and ran with it lol

@@OceanKoLDSoL Yeah, same. I have Escalation to thank for getting me through this event with A+, no mistakes. PTF took me 8 tries to get a flawless run, which is pretty bad for my standards lol. Thankfully, I got through the other ones pretty smoothly, most in 1 or 2 tries. :) No problem bro! I haven't watched the entire video yet, but I did see your performance at the end of every trial and you did great considering that you were doing this in a streak run. And I have no idea what happened in FTR, lol. The game must be bugged or something. :P But hey, I'd take that free A+ too haha.

@Dashiawia for this particular run I wanted to do 15 trials with no respawns; there are separate categories for with respawn and no respawns. However I may just end up doing it with respawns because it's just super difficult without them. Btw I'm pretty sure I did the enraged PTM with Prime Time deadly prime asset with no damage so I'm leaving the VOD up just for that haha

@@OceanKoLDSoL Yeah, no respawns in the new Escalation seems tough to do, especially on-stream where you can get distracted by comments in the chat haha. I haven't seen the full run yet, but incredible job getting PTM done with those nasty variators without taking damage, dude! That trial along with Poison The Cattle are the hardest ones for me to do with no damage.

@Dashiawia comments don't distract very much I enjoy everyone participating in chat :) yeah new escalation is brutal especially if u get enraged PTM all the time like I do lmao

@@OceanKoLDSoL You’re good at multitasking then. I was chatting with a friend during my Escalation run and sometimes I’d get hit randomly for not paying attention to the audio cues, lol. You have the best luck with getting enraged enemies every other trial lol. I got PTM on Ultra + Health Sickness and that was a pretty brutal combo!

Finally saw your PTM run and it was incredible! So many close calls but you made the right decision each time. Enraged enemies, DPA and PT have to be one of the worst combos you can get in Escalation. Imagine getting grazed by one of Franco’s stray bullets and going down in one shot, lol.

@rcrcdexxyn before this recent update it was available thru a certain number of rebirths. It may show up in later as the devs have said they will release earlier costumes in later catalogues, which should be happening in the next couple of weeks

@Manech. the backpack Amp gives you an extra item slot. Once u level up enough too you'll be able to get prescriptions that increase your inventory. So it's the prescriptions plus Backpack that can give you 6 items slots maximum

@@OceanKoLDSoLHaha, for sure. ITST is definitely one of the trickiest MKs to do without taking damage. And I’m not sure if you agree with me on this, but I find PTM to be the toughest trial to do for no damage runs. It also takes an absurd amount of time to do compared to the other trials. I did it no damage in 33:39 this week, and it’s a little depressing to think that this was my PB on psychosurgery lol.

@Dashiawia yeah I got sniped by franco a couple of times looking for the pictures. That and sometimes I would set off a laser wire because they turn invisible when enemies are near which is pretty annoying haha. I do agree especially with the enemies near the drug cart it's one of the hardest trials to do no damage. Don't think I've ever done it without taking damage so props to u man that's a good time with that condition:)

@@OceanKoLDSoLYeah, your experience sounds quite similar to my own 😆. I freaking hate the laser traps lol. I’d often turn on my night vision in broad daylight when I hear the sound of a laser nearby, because I don’t trust myself to spot the red marker when under pressure 😅. But thanks dude, I hope one day I can get it down to sub 30 in a no damage run.

@blakel3179 at the time of recording I played at 2000 dpi with 2.5 sensitivity in game. Yeah it's fast but I don't have to move the mouse much to turn around quickly :p

Just wanted to edit and say that the sensitivity i put was for controller. On mouse it's 0.4 and i actually decreased it now to 1600 DPI
