My goal is to contribute with the Classical Music Community on TH-cam, that helped me so much towards growing as an amator music student for the past years. I select pieces for which I wish there was a music score video, then I do it myself! If you want me to make a video for any piece, just ask me (by commenting or by sending me an e-mail at miguelfmeira@usp.br).

Thank you so much for the dedication! It's a pity Currentzis' recording couldn't be uploaded due to copyright :'( But still it's great to see a score video of one of my most favorite symphonies of all time!! Thanks for uploading!!
14:25 hold music part some of us are looking for
Schön arbeit,und shön musik
Scarlatti goes full Mozart/Haydn with this one.
Why can’t I hear the double bass at all?
Great performance! Thanks Miguel!
Forest of Piano
Pretty nice piece, never heard it before! The interpretation does not really work for me however. The almost total absence of dynamic contrast in the first movement (and to a large extent in the second) makes the piece sound extremely 'mellow'. So for the first few minutes it really captured me, but after that it becomes somewhat boring because the atmosphere of the music never really changed. The last movement I liked very much, but then you have to sit through the first two movements. In my humble opinion. And yes I know the harpsichord for which this piece was probably written could not produce dynamics. But at least the sound of the harpsichord always give the music a certain 'presence', if that makes sense.
The numbering of the Sonatas are messed up among all the categories, but I think this could have been written for early fortepiano. This score/edition, though, is a compete disaster and should be buried forever!
I agree. I much prefer Walter Klein' take on this
❤
Interpretação bem única !! Gostei bastante
Why you didn't use the E flat score?
Because I have a preference for this edition and I had already edited this score for a video of Bach's Magnificat in D major that ended up getting blocked.
@@miguelfontesmeira Yes, I also strongly prefer the BGA editions over the NBA (modern clefs, ew); but in this case it's not just the key, there are a lot of small rhythmic differences between the two versions. People can be very dramatic about that in comments ("why they're playing a quarter when there's a semiquaver!??!? so unprofessional").
@@SPscorevideos I agree with you about the small differences (that are somewhat annoying when you're following the score); I guess I took the risk haha thank you for pointing it out anyway
Miguel just casually drops bangers like this one without warning. ❤️
Hahaha I do like surprises

I can hear a lot of the left hand though, but otherwise very very very god!👏
Who wrote the cadenzas?
Amabile, vivace, dolce, grandiosa musica di Mozart ! Grazie ❤
two videos in one week, thank you so much my friend! this is amazing :)
20:39 choosing to play this section with solo strings (as in a piano quartet) gives the maggiore section the intimate atmosphere it deserves
7:35 Essa parte é uma beleza.
Sexto comentario: “Lovely Sonata” 😂😂
Belíssima interpretação!
thank you😄
ESSE É MUITO BOM
This set seems not that difficult and hard as hell at the same time
AMAZING intonation and dynamics (e.g. Rigaudon accents, beginning of Toccata) Excellent choice!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
So this is the music bassoons are always playing
thanks so much for continuing with the Mozart Piano Concerto series!! :)
Thanks very very much 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

Thank you so much for the Currentzis score videos! You should also upload his recording of the Pathetique symphony!
Thank you for your request!

@@miguelfontesmeira Oh I'm sorry to hear that :'( Thank you so much for taking my request and sending me the link! I appreciate your efforts!!
Maybe it's time to start binge listening to all of Mozart's piano concertos 😹
You won't regret it!
What I would give to listen to a Mozart piano concerto again for the very first time! although they never do lose their magic even if it is the 100th time you’ve listen to the same concerto
14:12 one of Mozart's most heart-breaking moment, in my opinion
Also, I forgot to mention how much I love the bassoon's clarity in this recording
Agreed, the entire second movement is full of imaginative harmonic suspense, yet always in service of the serious character of this work. The outer movements are pure joy. Mozart’s woodwind writing, especially the bassoons, is in my humble opinion, unparalleled. As always, thank you for sharing this with us.
This one starts out seeming almost full Mozart/Haydn, and then hits with the characteristic Scarlatti tone clusters, and alternates between these several more times.
15:45 Haydn
Very good!
definetly one of my favourite recordings even if its a bit too fast for my taste
2:59
IMO this is one of the more challenging sonatas from Mozart, despite it being the 1st sonata
Lovely. ❤
Very good and imaginative recording! The middle of 13 sounds particularly beautiful. The pianissimo at the beginning of the minor section of 15 is great. I love how he plays 18, with the runs played like someone speaking. His timing in some of the faster ones sounds a bit stilted, especially 12. I like how he connects the preludes, especially 9--10, 19--20, and 21--22. Nice voicing at times, like 30:21 in 19, or alternating between lower and upper in 8, like Katsaris does. There are a few very unusual choices, like the crescendo at the beginning of 16 or the voicing at the beginning of 20. (The whole first phrase of 20 is voiced amazingly, especially measures 3--4). He plays the bell-strikes in 17 without a diminuendo, like Rubinstein. There are several places where his playing doesn't match the score that you chose.
Want to learn this one on piano
4:57 a dew in the misty forest
same hahahaha just took a break from it got it till the 5 page or so tho. Will try in a few months ago. You should also try again after a break, it really helps
Helmut
