Agree - less animal fat, plenty of whole grains, lean protein ... EXERCISE ... lower stress ... take ownership of the problem. Let me state right off that UMMS saved my life. I had a heart attack at just over 59 years of age. As it turned out, all the players were right where they need to be from the ambulance, the paramedics, the surgeon. I was kept alive and conscious all the way to the catheter lab. Just as the surgeon was inserting a stent, my heart finally went into arrest. If I wasn't on the table at that point, you would not be reading this note. If I had arrested at home, it would have been all over by the time the ambulance arrived. I'm told there were several electrical shocks and ultimately two stents implanted before I was stable again. I immediately took charge of this problem as suggested in this video. I obtained a book "Reversing Heart Disease" by Dr. Dean Ornish, M.D. Following his guidelines, I have lost much weight and have much more energy. His focus is on the food - almost zero fat. In addition, I am biking (real biking - not stationary) 3x per week, 16 miles each time (75 minutes, 3x / week). In addition, I'm doing all the cardiologist recommended stuff: baby aspirin, metoprolol, blood pressure meds, statin. I wish these podcasts allowed questions. But, I'll just toss this out there. I "seem" to be quite healthy outwardly and I can do the exercises described with no issues. However, a recent CAC test had a score over 100. Plus, I mentioned to my cardiologist that I can hear my pulse in my ears almost anytime I lie down. I read that this could be a hearing issue but also could be calcium / blockages in my carotid arteries. He did not have any suggestion other than a different statin. My cholestorol total is 145 but my HDL is a whopping 70 so he says not to worry. I am interested in your thoughts on the following ... a friend of mine who is a naturopathic doctor suggested that I discontinue the aspirin and instead begin taking nattokinase. I did some reading and, according to NIH, this appears to be excellent for preventing and even reversing blockages. I am not on any other blood thinners so the risk seemed low. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6043915/ I replaced the aspirin with nattokinase for the last 60 days. No, I have not told my doctor because he will just scold me as he did for not taking the Covid shot (which I still refuse to do). I believe this action falls firmly into the "take ownership" arena. Now, over 60 days out, my ability to hear my pulse in my ears has completely disappeared (used to keep me awake). Coincidence? Another tangible change is that my blood pressure is now consistently in the 120's / 50's. I check it every day. The top number has been in the 140's for the last few years even with taking blood pressure meds (which I am still taking). Another coindicence? Of course, I can't see inside my arteries nor will my cardiologist do another CAC test for a year or more. But, I am encouraged by these two changes. Do you have any thoughts on the use of nattokinase for heart patients? Yes, I will eventually tell my cardiologist but probably not until our next visit (6 months). Am I being a fool for playing my own doctor?

There was not sufficient evidence to hold that Dr. Lewis was negligence and committed malpractice. Even though she failed to document all the calls made, her focus on patient care is consistent with everything she did for this patient once she confirmed stroke.and so I believe she followed expected standards of care.

Objection - Plaintiff is mischaracterizing the patient's presenting symptoms as consistent with neurological injury. There is no evidence of, or reason to suspect, a stroke prior to 14:00. Additionally, plaintiff is misleading the jury by highlighting section (g) of the hospital policy; section (h) directs the transfer timeline for basilar stroke management as "should be urgently considered if transfer can be initiated with a goal of patient arrival at the receiving facility within 12 hours from last seen well."

I Cody William AQUARIUS Bryson of Irving Dallas County Texas USA 🇺🇸 AKA Aquarius William Grey HAVE EMPHASEYMA / COPD I finally quit smoking cigarettes and cigars back in December of 2023 but way back in March of 2023 as I was kicking off hard liquor alcohol I thought I was going to have a heart attack in a period of three weeks. So I called the Ambulance and the took me in the ambulance gave me some oxygen and then the Ambulance Guys told me I was just in alcohol withdrawal so I went to the nearest bar and got some shots of whiskey and I felt fine but I had to hit my BREZTREE inhaler about 3 or 4 times on the way too and from the bar at the end of March of 2023 so I called the Ambulance 2 more times after that day at the end of March of 2023 into February and the Ambulance drivers told me that I was in alcohol withdrawal and having panic attacks. So I burned up one and a half BREZTRI inhalers within a three week period and I'm only supposed to take Two puffs from my BREZTRI inhaler a day. on my birthday in February the day after valentines day I started breathing hard and feeling like my heart ♥ was gonna explode do I called the Ambulance Again and this time I knew I was not in alcohol withdrawal this time because it was my birthday and I had been drinking beer so I told the Ambulance guys to take me to Baylor hospital in Irving Dallas County Texas. They told me that I had Pneumonia. Anyway when I used to take puffs off my Breztri inhaler I used to cough up a bunch of black stuff 5 or 10 minutes after I puff off my BREZTRI inhaler my lungs do not produce mucas at all anymore I can not walk fast or run or carry anything over 10 POUNDS anymore and my OXYGEN MACHINE WEIGHS 7 Pounds I do not know if I will Survive this coming winter it seems like my lungs have only gotten worse since I was diagnosed with Pneumonia and since I quit Smoking cigarettes and cigars all back in 2023 ITS very aggressive and has just gotten worse since I quit smoking. And it's a 2 or 3 month wait to see any specialists around where I live in Irving Dallas County Texas USA 🇺🇸 Susan Marie Holloway Bryson baby my love 😍 XOXO ❤

I cleaned my humidifier last night. Forgot how good I felt with it on. The cool mist helped me last night. The air was clean and crisp. Woke up with congestion, like I always do, but it wasn’t thick. It moved easily. I guess I’m suggesting a cool mist humidifier. Just make sure you regularly clean it. That’s what I found to help. Any comments would be helpful if the dr feels that’s not accurate. Ty in advance
