Modernizing 1992 Tamiya Blackfoot QD (Quick Drive)
I gave my old Tamiya Blackfoot QD RC-car a new life.
Canged all new electrics (brushless motor and speed controller), new transmitter and receiver, new steering servo and all new bearings. Also gave it a new paint and decals, because it was quite a mess, thanks to my own customizing attempts as a kid 😁

Been doing something similar on Marui Shogun and also machined the half shafts supports to accept a bearing.

You put a ford sticker on a Chevy body.. blasphemous.. the bad part about qd monster trucks is the diff is weak and breaks into 3 pieces. I’ve had these trucks since they came out in 1989, and have fixed quite a few diffs on them. How did this do with brushless power??
