I am so glad to have been born and bred in Kilmarnock - the beauty of this town before the 'town planners' was unbelievable - all those gorgeous red sandstone buildings - a town filled with industry - carpets (BMK), engineering (Glenfield and Kennedy and the Glacier Metal), locomotives (Barclay and Sons), footwear (Saxone), tractors and combine harvesters (Massey Ferguson), the pottery (Shanks), and, of course Johnnie Walker whisky to name but a few. A high school boasting two Nobel Laureates (Kilmarnock Academy) and a football team (KFC, the oldest professional football team in Scotland) the envy of many... ...and John Wilson the publisher of Robert Burns' Poems, chiefly in the Scottish Dialect!!! Nae bad fur a wee toon!
Thank you for sharing. I wish you well in your next interview.

Pretty cool vlog I had just recently went to Kilmarnock and vlogged too. I am glad I managed to find a similar video to mine
I’m just crying on bed cause I can’t do it😭
Can you just walk around or do you need permission?
Hello Betty! Glad to have discovered your channel 🌸. Thank you for sharing your experience! Can I ask about how you managed to allocate your kids to public kindergartens? My daughter will turn three next year, is it possible to get her into one? I also read that public kindergartens only keep kids for half of the day. Thank you very much!
Nice
It's very amazing
Seeing it left-handed makes it so much easier, thank you!
Thank you too!
Go Go Go !
😘Thanks❤️
You can do it Betty, I believe in you. Stay strong to overcome separations and focus on ur last league of this journey not many would take. I’m so proud of u , proud to know u as a mentor as well as a friend and confidante.

Glasgow uni just like the rest of them mind you....... Is a Cess Pit .... built on the lies of men who knew better. Institution.... Aye ... Of Liars .. Liars Breeding more Liars. And so it goes on.
it feels like I am walking the streets myself, so clear and images are crisp and sharp. Thank you!

Thank you from a homesick woman in the USA. Just a hint: if you pan/zoom your (phone) camera slowly, it is easier on the viewer's eyes. Cheers!
Thanks for the tip! Really appreciate it.
@@bdprimus You're welcome and I used to do it myself, and wish I could go back and reshoot films I did thirty or so years ago. Best wishes, lovie!
Nice little town

Is Kilmarnock a safe place to visit as you hear so many stories of drug abuse and crime?

If you only had time during a quick stay in Glasgow to see this Hunterian Museum, or the Kelvingrove Museum ... which one would you pick?
I would say Kelvingrove museum. But both museums are just walking distance to each other. You can actually go to both.
@@bdprimus Thank you for your reply. Yes, we'll visit the kelvingrove first, then if we have time have a loom at one or more of the Hunterian museums too. Regards from Whitley Bay
@@brianmorrison9168 Have fun!
