As a game dev i could probably give an explanation on why this happens, its as simple as the game saves the player's position and rotation in the map, but it does not save their velocity, so the default velocity it loads for the player character is 0, hence why this works, hope someone enjoys and understands this useless explanation i made for this 👍

Don't throw away your crafting table Stonecutter is only for stairs and only stone stairs, that's it. The crafting table can make more than half of the blocks and items

it’s because when you re enter the world you spawn in the air, or just spawn protection

Me realise that the server has turned off spawn protection while falling off the cliff.

when you join a world, you get 3 seconds of invulnerability. nothing can hurt you during this 3 second period, including fall damage, lava, or mobs. it works on servers too, but the game doesnt pause in the esc menu

Cant pause in bedrock so gotta be quick

In multiplayer servers clicking Esc might not freeze the game and but i dont even know if spawn invincibility is a thing in multiplayer servers😅
