I had been working on this since the start of the year, Just started out with a few clips and as I recorded more stuff I put them in this video. The total video size is about 60 - 70 Gigabytes, took overnight to export it and took almost 24 hours to upload (since I have crap internet) But thanks!

Not every CDC b12 has a slash badge and not all of them have a good ZF

The last service before the 180 run was bus #142 (the service was 11 minutes late) and I had to get off a stop before mine.

I was looking on Vicsig and yea it did a charter run in 2021 but the last time it was on a proper Steamrail Event/Tour was in 2017

Who knows if CDC might fix it because thats what they did to a few other buses but most likely this will just be sitting.

There was also W12 which was a good E2 B7RLE but it died again and is most likely gonna be sold or scrapped. It died, CDC fixed it and it died again.

@@MarkoCR221L yeah. W12 is my worst bus with dead engines. No chance for CDC to fix the dead engines for this bus

well if you didnt know W12 is back as of 2 weeks ago and is still running

This has one of the more nicer sounding ZFs i have heard but yes that engine is kaboom although very nice rare bus.

@@MarkoCR221Lin the mean time, let’s focus on CDC Wyndham looking at scrapping their last 2 B7L’s.

I wouldn't want them scrapped because they are really rare buses here in australia so more just sell me to someone and they can fix it up or something. But CDC will scrap them anyway but yea these need to go because they are in shit condition and aren't even roadworthy to be used on public route

I like Vlocitys but thing is, they were originally built only for short - medium distance services. Meanwhile what V/Line loves doing is sending out on long distance services to Barnsdale or Ararat which is way too far for them to run on. Worst thing they do is that they sometimes send out the short haul Vlocity on these lines which has only 1 toilet and also those rock hard blue seats. So comfy!!! V/Line should look into other train models or something instead of the Vlocity because clearly V/Line is obsessed with sending them out everywhere. Minimum they should do is build a Broad Gauge Long distance Vlocity that is the same as the Standard Gauge but with the cafe bar, comfy seats and USB chargers in it (use these on services to Ararat, Barnsdale, Shepparton, Warrnambool (hopefully that never happens) or Echuca. Not bloody normal Vlocitys or Short hauls) I'm gonna miss the N sets when they go because they are the most comfy. Even the H sets (RIP) are more comfy than a Vlocity Hope you enjoyed my yapping.

When I catch a train and it came from Bairnsdale I’m expecting it to be a new one ( with all the toilets and comfy seats )but no.. you get some dingy run down train which has paint peeling off it. And you’d expect to get a cafe bar or kiosk, or some sort of place to purchase food, (especially on Warrnambool, Bairnsdale/Traralgon, Swan hill, Ararat, Echuca and Shepparton services) because it takes 3-4 hours (or it can be 5 hours depending on how delayed your train is).But 4 hours without food is a bit far, I know that you can survive without food for 4 hours but it really does matter, the closest thing to a kiosk on those inter urban vlocitys are those water dispensers which are usually broken

100% i agree Worst thing is that V/Line loves sending out the short hauls which have the rock hard blue seats and also only one toilet on the whole train. Very comfy for a 4 hour trip "Comfort is our biggest priority" my ass it is when you send out a crappy vlocity on a 5 hour service Well done V/Line. Also from what I have looked up, the only reason they still make Vlocities is so they can keep the Alstom/Bombardier site in Dandenong because they dont want to get rid of it. So yea

I got the infomation about the powertrain from a few other bus enthusiests. But yeah i cant really find alot of infomation about the engines and transmissions on these, all i found were that they had cummins motors and allison transmissions but no one said how many gears or the exact engine specs.
