From all the remixes of the album that exist, yours might be the best one. Not 100% my taste (vocals are now too high to me) but still a very good job.

The original mix is better, but this is good as well.

As much as he is a great musician, Jari needs to accept he's not a good mixer and hire a professional, like Sonata Arctica going back to their original producer for their new album.

I think the real "problem" is that we all hear Time II in different devices, and Jari, had his own experience with its own equipment, which I believe was way too pro. I dont think he didnt notice the low volumes, etc. As much as we did... But it was too much material in just one song to handle! So he did his best and, as usual, gave us this option for us to use. Besides many versions. I think this is the first time I witness such an incredible release and production, its, for me, like the future of music and todays software and even hardware were not ready to handle all of that normally. Its something new!

That string skipping part at 6:27 is my favorite riff of the album and it sounds much more clear and less muffled in this. Nice job.

Is there any chance you could mix the entire album this way and upload it to a drive? It sounds FANTASTIC!

Im assuming jari mastered this at -14 LUFS -1.0 TP so how did you remaster this without squashing or clipping?

This is definitely the immediate stand out song of the album for me, and I can tell this will go down as one of my favourite Wintersun songs. I was glad to see it wasn't just me who took issue with the original mix. Yours sounds a lot better, in my opinion. I think I'll likely also make my own mix, as I think the shredding part in the beginning needs to be very prominent in the mix. Awesome work, mate!

Jari's vocal performance with clean vocals in this album is simply amazing, and I've seen so many people complaning about the snares, it was really sticking out a bit too much for me, and I currently listening only to the -2Db versions, I'm able to hear the higher frequencies way better, and of course your versions is pretty much what fans are wanting, thanks Jari for the masterpiece and you for making it more diverse for more people.

It’s way better. But I also find it slightly overstimulating with all the stuff that’s going in the background. He just did way too much.

After waiting over 12 years for the Time II release, and fan remasters still making it sound better than what Wintersun put out, I can't help but be disappointed. That being said- no disappointment in the new album from Fleshgod Apocalypse after waiting 8 years for that one. Absolutely phenomenal album. It helps dim the lack felt from Time II 😅

Drummer myself here, but in Time 2 the kick is super fucking high, it ruins the rest of the music. Im glad i was not the only one to notice it

the only extra edit I'd give is just cut the last 2 minutes of the track, that ambient white noise is ridiculously too long for no reason

Yes... Yeeees... If there is one criticism I have towards Time 2 it is the mixing - the drums are waaaaaaay too loud...

This is my favorite song on Time II as well. I've listened to your other mixes of The Way of the Fire and Silver Leaves and you did a really good job with it. I've gotten used to how Time II sounds after listening to it a bunch on different mediums, but your spin on it really breathes some life into it.

My only real issue with Jari's mix is the kick drums. I feel a bit vindicated by this.
