He wasn't that big of a character in the first 2 anyways.. if he stayed alive we woulda had another Logan vs Scott love warfare for Jean like in the first 2 already gave us. I just think that nitpicking something like that in a superhero film is sort of missing the point. You can criticize whatever you want, but as much as I love them, superhero movies are dumb. And there’s a lot of dumb stuff in them.

Because there are Doctor Dooms that literally can't take their masks off...some that just almost never take their masks off, and at least one that never wears the mask outside of combat. Movies aren’t comics 💯

@@TheFilmScoop movies are based on the comics. They model the vast majority of their ideas and basically all of their characters on them. To ignore how things are and have been in the comics would be like complaining a movie is doing something that was in the novel its based on. So while "movies aren't comics"...they are based on the comic source material so your response invalidates nothing. Please try again if you have a more thought out counter point.

You can criticize something in a novel adaptation. Just cause it’s in the novel doesn’t mean it’s good and that you have to like it. Same with comics. Just cause it’s in the comics doesn’t make it a good idea to adapt into a movie.

If I say “ I don’t like when Batman kills people”. It doesn’t matter if there is or isn’t a comic book where he kills people. I still don’t like it.

​@@TheFilmScoop That kind of a thought process implies you likely either didn't/don't read the comics or aren't a fan of them or are somehow a fan of them but dislike what has been a major plot device in them for decades now...which is unlikely but not impossible I suppose. Either way. You stated they can't do the same actor as a different character because it doesn't make sense.....my point was to just why it does make sense and isn't abnormal in its source material. So choose to dislike it if you wish but to say that movie or tv show creators are "doing it wrong/incorrectly" or "doing a bad/stupid thing" by following the source materials example. Then you are so in the minority as a supposed fan to such a degree its not even funny. Considering they haven't even done it yet. Its a bit arrogant to say that factually its not a good idea. You know so little about exactly what they are doing or how they are doing it until its released. Even more so if you were surprised and saying what you did implying you don't follow the source material. But ultimately and lastly I want to highlight you spoke in the short saying roughly that they can't have the same actor play two different characters in the same fictional universe....when they can....the comics have...and they are...and there is an in world lore based explanation as to how and why it could happen. So opinions on "liking" or "disliking" ultimately idc. The statement in the video was contrary to truth and made it sound like they were doing something they aren't.

@@cmax5553 Mystique is Magneto's partner and effectively second in command of the Brotherhood. One of his closest allies. Definitely not a servant. There was no scene depicting Magneto ordering Mystique to enact the plan shown, and its doubtful that she'd have visited his prison given the extremely high security and monitoring. Given the nature of their group, contingency plans for capture seem most plausible and she knows how his powers work. She's also incredibly intelligent, and could have easily made the plan herself.

That is such an odd statement to make about a character. You don't know what version of Doom they are bringing in. So unless you have a expertise on the entire multiverse of Doctor Dooms and insider knowledge on what type of Doctor Doom they are brining to the MCU... its a bit of a silly comment made sillier by the massive lack of information you have to do with the character. "XYZ character has no qualities that need ABC actor/actress.". What is that even? Beyond an attempt at sounding like a cinematic scholar or expert. That is a lens that is ridiculous to look at any character through. If you disagree and feel your statement was completely reasonable. then please enlighten me on what version of Doctor Doom we are getting and what actor is "needed" based on their "qualities"? If you just don't like that they are bringing back RDJ then just say that and don't be pretentious about it. I'm honestly not thrilled they are bringing back RDJ but to say anything beyond that is as sumptuous and pretentious.

That’s not the type of content I make brother. I’m not making a hyper detailed analysis. I have a podcast with my friend where we talk about movies and joke around. You don’t have to read comics and do research to give your opinion on something.

This isn't yet another Fantastic Four movie and frankly don't need yet another rehashing of that version of Doom that has been done poorly already.
