Hi there,
This channel is intended to share my experience in Japan to my friends overseas.
When I left the States back in early 2019, I thought we can always make quick trips to visit each other again, but the pandemic was unexpected and I found myself wishing to have something to look back when I miss them.
I guess sharing moments of my life here in Japan over time will be a great way to stay in touch with our memories.
It would be nice to have a place to revisit those fun time when I think of those who shared them with me.

Would you happen to know if you can still rent the Samurai armour ? I'm planning a trip to Japan for next year and i'd like to visit Edo Wonderland, but in the most recent videos about it, i see no one showing the Samurai armour, except on display somewhere :(

Hi! Thank yo I for the comment! I stayed in couple of places last two years and my recommendation is lodge Nagano. They speak English and the owner is very nice as well! It takes only 8 minutes from main lift!

Great vid. Although calling that area back country when you're under a ski lift is a bit of a stretch haha. I would call that off-piste or maybe side country. Not a critique of the run though. Would love to ride it

Sorry for late reply! Thank you for the comment. I don’t think that’s good idea but I think late December will be ok. You still need to check the snow condition in weather report!

Suguru! I loved your commentary, it was informative and cute at the same time :D I just moved to Japan and am very excited for the winter season. I think for my first time, I'll explore Nozawa Onsen.
By the way, I have an all-mountain board, but do you think it would be wise to invest in a powder board for Japanese conditions for my first season? Looks like pretty deep stuff even for December. 😁
Hi Mohammed, Sorry that it took weeks to get back to you. Please do so! You will love it for sure!! Regarding powder board, it’s like gamble haha if you are planning to visit Nozawa often, then I will definitely recommend you to get one. Many of my friends bought Jones for powder and it was worth buying for last season in Nozawa. We happened to hit the best powder few days (almost 2 meters in 5 days!!)
Any idea what snowfall will be like during early December?

Thanks for the comment always! Yea, side country in Nozawa is pretty amazing. They replaced the Gondola in 2020 and therefore there are some courses not reachable easily now. These trails have tons of untouched snow and forest run! Quite fun and I wanna show you around there when you have a chance to come over! 😁

Hi! Thank you for coming back! It’s pretty early morning so it took a time to get used to it… but at least compared to driving a car for 6-7 hours, I think this is the best solution for me haha I also wish I could stay in Hokkaido around ski resorts!!

@@hokkaidoshred two years ago when I just came back from the US, I was really poor and went with bus trip (about 7,000yen including rental, round trip and lift ticket). It took almost 6 hours to go and I can play only 3 hours and come back on the same day. Compared to that time, train is like “God blessed me”.

Thank you for your comment! Actually this was my first time to visit these ski resorts and BC trail so I was not able to compare to other days, but now I understand why it was soooo good (i thought this was common in Hokkaido haha).
