One of my favorite British cars, when I was a teenager my oldest brother had a 1973 gt6 British racing green and tan interior. It always reminded me of an XKE Jag with the long nose and fastback rear . Beautiful car.

I always clean the threads so there is no old locking agent left that will give an incorrect torque reading.

My TF failed the MOT. Initially due to a "worn" rear wheel bearing, so replaced the whole hub and it failed again! Anyway the MOT Tester then realized that it was the inner track rod bush that was shot, that gives the impression of a lose wheel bearing when you shake the wheel(the one I replaced seemed OK). So now waiting for a new track rod to arrive and get a new test. Interesting about the Ford Cougar back to front outer trackrods!

Hello, where did you get the ramps from? I attempted to get a jack under my VX220 and there is no chance I'm getting anything under there!

Found this after spending a couple of painful hours trying to remove these rivets - which I failed to do! So ordered some new wishbones and will have to drop the rear of the subframe to get clearance. By that stage I may as well replace both wishbones as its such a hassle to do again.

Great video mate, although some close up footage would be great, do you move the ecu & expansion tank out the way to get to the TOP mount bolts?

So you caught the whole incident on dash cam and decided to chase after them? undertaking others and speeding with the looks of it just to then obstruct a dual carriageway just for them to drive off again anyway? well worth the risk mate, your exactly the reason our insurance keeps going up along with these clowns who can't drive either, i highly doubt you gave this video to the police because you've just filmed yourself committing at least two offences which would land you in more trouble than the woman who hit your car and drove off 🤣 If you haven't got a dashcam then get one, if your ever hit and they drive off phone the police and report it and they'll get done for leaving the scene, whatever you do don't take pursuit and road rage thinking because that person committed an offence the police will turn a blind eye to you committing ones too, driving without due care and attention and obstructing a highway just to road rage and let them drive off again anyway, very smart decision.

I think I would have phoned the police to tell them what had happened. This would prevent the other driver claiming he had road rage and was harassing them. If the police responded then you get brownie points.

I’ve had 2 of these. Each time the police refused to deal with it

I rarely get rear ended because I have a tow bar ,deters even the idiots !
