Solo winter Camping on top of the mountains
Hello guys,
I went solo for an overnight trip in the mountains, made it to the summit and spent the night up there, the mountain name is Panorama ridge in British Columbia, Canada, sitting at 2100m altitude, conditions were amazing, avalanche risk moderate but followed a route that avoided most of big avalanche risk. Sorry video short and not well done, I’m just making my way back to TH-cam slowly.
Thank you for watching :)

Solo Ascent Mont Blanc-Gouter route 2023
มุมมอง 41Kปีที่แล้ว
Hey Guys :) 2 weeks ago, I went on a new adventure, one goal, summiting mont blanc, it was a two days solo ascent, to make it on the top of the highest peak of western Europe. If you watch to the end, you’ll see that I turned around almost at the summit because of weather conditions (extreme wind), I still ask myself if I should’ve kept going, maybe nothing would’ve happened, but knowing that I...

It was a memorable experience and a lifetime adventure, that everyone should live once in their life, I’ll take few people with me next season ( Octobe...

beautiful
I have been as far as Dawson it's only 700k to the ocean. The last stretch of hwy has been open for a few years now.
When in Dawson look up Johnny one eye. Yup HD wears a patch. Tell him Andreas told you to buy him a drink. BTW he's not there in the winter! Lol
❤
Nice video ! How many places you can find gas from Dawson to Inuvik ? Also did you have to book the ferry to cross the river in advance? Awesome video
So scary! Next time Keep the spry in your belt all the time. I like your videos very much, relaxing music with great landscaping and above all … you are not selling anything related to hiking or camping. So far ! Always be safe and enjoy the Mother Nature !
Très belle vidéo, merci !
Those drone shots were amazing. Hope you had some feet warmers and hand warmers at night.
❤❤❤❤

@@sofiemera j’ai hâte de voir une nouvelle vidéo une nouvelle aventure et ton jolie sourire
You're brave to drive up (and then back down) that road alone. Nice video.
How did the car end up on the side of the road?
🫡🫡🫡
the fact you did this in a honda civic is what surprises me the most. 😅😅 but well worth it! question: did the Sun really stay up the entire day?? i've heard it doesnt set that far north, but it's still hard to believe
Worked there for 19 days last summer was crazy due to the ice melting last ib churchill tons of bear were close to churchill... if you like history there is ton of history to learn in churchill.. the dene village, the port, the rocket range from the 60s, the navy base, the radar golf balls station, although destroyed there used to be a huge military base from the usa... churchill was an important hub for the dew line logistics... and dont forget the belugas season in the summer time..
Need more videos from you. Stunning video. Great editing, great shots, great story, music, etc. 🫡
I imagine once you got there maybe you wanted to spend a few days there. Thanks for sharing.
Can you fly drones?

Name of the song that starts at 2:12 ?
Usually you cross the couloir early in the morning, then there are less stones coming down 😅
i love both your tiktok and youtube content❤ do make more youtube content though! i love seeing the process of your trip and theres crazy views no matter where. keep it up!
Please people, do all you can to save our planet, and the animals like the polar bear that depend on us to not destroy their environment.
Well done for your attempt and more so for knowing when to call it a day. Think I was up a week or two after you amazing memories.
Unclean ascent, not by fair means. Using cable cars and rails is poor mountainieering.
Hey 👋 I just took the rails to get to the start of the climb at 2372m, didn’t use cable cars, there are none on this route
@@sofiemera I know, that there are no cable cars to Tete Rousse or Nid d'Aigle. I did Mt. Blanc several times on this route. Using infrastructure in general makes an asscent unclean. What's the problem to start at Les Houches and do a bivouac instead of climbing this mountain like an idiot, sleeping in an expensive, cozy bed at Gouter hut? Afraid of carrying 25kg of equipment in a backpack? Get rid of your selfie stick and try it by fair means.
@@slurmforfree1754 I hiked from les Houches to above nid d’aigle, the day before just for the sport and training, I climbed to the “luxurious hut” with my 20kg backpack, sleeping bag and sleeping pad included, because I didn’t have a reservation and reserved at tête rousse if there was no space at Gouter hut, I actually have 0 selfie from mont blanc, I wish I did though …
Are you serious ? So i guess you are the person who decides what fair means are !! Oh i'm sorry , you just wanted to tell us you did the summit in much harder conditions, congratulation 👍
@@guydebord812 There is a definition of "fair means" 🤡
try to indonesia most volcano mountain & tropical rain forest mountain
Looks like shes going to the Overlook Hotel.
Gute Entscheidung umzukehren, nicht nur der Aufstieg erfordert Mut, sondern auch das umkehren erfordert Mut
Amazing video and super impressive achievement!
Take care out there
Hello, I’ve been living in Canada, in Dawson City, for the 3rd month now. really arrived just in time for winter😮😮👍👍🇨🇦
Wow, you do Mont Blanc alone ? That is very brave!! 👏👏👏
Insipring, love it
The best vdo.😅 thanks
Hi Sofie, i was in Chamonix a few weeks ago and loved it. This is such a great film and think you are super brave. next summer i would love to do it with you :)
What time of the year did you go? What month? Thanks, I plan on doing that drive end of August start of September…
I went in June, end of august start of September is perfect too, you ll see some early autumn colours
@@sofiemeraI am driving there in June this year. It looks like the perfect time of year. Were the visitors centers open then? Did you have any tire issues?
I had three flat tires, repaired two, one was lost, had to buy one in eagle drive VERY EXPENSIVE, even if you have good tires, bring two good spares, and no donut. Everyone has a flat on this road no exceptions so be prepared and enjoy :)
@@sofiemera thanks for the info!
Nice video, it feels very calm at the end, not the Vallot part and of course the falling rocks at the couloir...👍
