I just finished replacing all the ikea plumbing I could. Now I have to replace the drain pipe with the ikea part because it’s the only part that will fit. I find all the cheap IKEA plumbing attracts hard water buildup like crazy. But nothing at all with the ABS. So hopefully I won’t have to do this again for a long time. Good video👍🏼

MY GC just installed this but there is a lot of water left standing in the tub. They didn’t put the drain line very high above the ground- do you think if that were placed at the winch mark it would drain all the way?

My Bosch 100 did not come with a felt liner, just some black rubber coating around it. Is that normal? It's loud as hell running at 64 decibels when it's supposed to be at 50. Edit: I just added felt from the old dishwasher, it's still high at 58 DB. Way too loud for something that's supposed to be at 50 DB... Thoughts?

Bosch does not honor their warranty. I have a $550 repair that I had to pay.

Did yrs come with a junction box already attached? I just took that dishwasher unit out to put another in. So my old one has that junction box. But the new one doesn’t. But has the moulding where it would go. So I’m wondering how to transfer it over? Nevermind the previous Bosch junction box doesn’t fit the new Bosch. Just took an electrical outlet box mounted near the bottom on the back wall behind dishwasher and plugged in the unit with the plug that came with it. Apparently they’ve done away with the hardwire junction boxes that are attached to the unit like the one in the video. Because they don’t want customers to play with electrical. They want an outlet in the wall and just plug it in. Done.

I really enjoy your videos that provide great direction for projects that non professionals can do. I hope you record some more in the near future.

Thank you for the great video! I’m installing mine currently and bought that little white pipe to black ABS piece at Home Depot but it doesn’t seem to have a good seal when tight. I’m concerned that if there were a clogged pipe then it would leak. Under normal conditions of course there is no issue due to gravity but have you ever had a clog?

Thanks for the video. Those are channel lock pliers, made by vise grips. Vise grips is most known for their ratcheting pliers, which are colloquially called “vise grips”

I installed mines but the faucet started to wiggle after a few months.. any reason why? and white size is the green tool to tighten the bolts underneath the faucet? thanks

How are you folks containing the standing water? I might have to get a new machine. 12yo. But I'm almost certain that it's a simple clog. Can't deal with it like you mentioned initially. My filter/trap needs full disassembly. My next machine will have access.

Because you did not use the other leg of the shoe rack, is the rack on the right much shorter? I am planning to use this idea for my entryway.

I got lucky with mine, first attempt with heavy duty anchors proved I was wrong. I used four inch screws and hit the studs on an angle. Solid as anything. Awesome video.

I did it! Thanks to this video, a 59 year old woman installed her own dishwasher and saved 175! That job is not worth that amt.

Easy enough when you've got a modern house with the correct lines on the house-end. When you've got an older house, you've got to figure out those too... so far I haven't found answers.

thanks for the video:) can you tell me how I can remove the cover on the back so that I can reach and loosen the screw behind it using an Allen key so that I can remove the mixer tap control lever? I would like to clean the mixer tap. Thank you!

I ended up having to buy 2 metal clamps when I did mine. The squeeze clamp in the video failed to hold the drain hose.

Whats the tube on the left? Condensation? Vent?

Great Video, just bought IKEA Odensvik sink and Rinnen pipe system. I try to explain my issue - The overflow black pipe is attached to the white pipe, the problem is that in the white pipe there is no hole (its has a T shape, so you can attach the overflow black pipe on either side) but there is no hole so the overflow water cannot flows down to the white pipe. Should I perforate? Thanks a lot
