I realized something. All this time Senku thought that his dad was in a stone. So by building back the human civilization, he could also depetrify his dad and get him back. But from the message he got to know that his dad died and there was no hope for getting him back for the first time. I am glad to see that he didn't step back from his goal to bring back civilization after this.

While people noticed "Shut up idiot", there's a moment (not showed in the clip) a few seconds later. Ishigami says "After all, if the guy hadn't done enything wrong, he shouldn't be apologizing, right?" After learning his past, it makes this scene much stronger.
