I tend to ignore the secret room pool for items from the mystery gift and stick to the devil/angel rooms for targets.

I personally would have waited to see if I got an angel deal to use the item, but use it in the secret room if there was no deal

Blue Babys devil deals only take as many blue hearts as they would take red hearts iirc

Both secret rooms have the same pool. Secret rooms, devil, angel, and planetariums are the best to spawn/reroll items in.

You should try to do a blue baby run to isaac at least, it makes isaac runs much easier by unlocking the d6 for him(isaac), and if you want to get more angel deals after the first you should fight the angels, the key pieces give angel room chances (or you could instead use the isaacs d6 to roll if you just want more angel items instead after unlocking it)

13:02 you must've got the piggy bank for 3 coins payback and then start donating blood machine you would have probably get all your money back and one free item

if you're going for this route, you should be also unlocking Tainted characters while you're at it (unless you already have Tainted Azazel, idk)

You already have the planetarium rooms unlocked, otherwise they wouldnt spawn at all 😂

Plus you should play greed mode to get holy mantle on the lost so the mirror dimension is…. Easier

You could have used the shovel in the secret rooms, the void floor has no decorations but the secret rooms floors can have them

I don't know if anyone ever told you but the reason hush is so strong is because your phase 1 DPS establishes his phase 2 health. So if you can do baby damage phase 1 he's super easy!

Not attempting to backseat but there's not much of a reason to play anything but hard, a lot of items and unlocks are only unlocked when on hard, but I do agree hard isn't much harder but it's more annoying.

Tears bending is because of sacred hearts psuedo homing, it acts weird on azazel because of his short range brimstone
