Hi mate how does the wash boost and softener works, my machine does not take it always stays there?

Also ensure you change the clutch fluid every couple of years. No need to syringe into the system from the slave cylinder as in the manual. Just use an 8 mm spanner and a hose on the bleed nipple to collect the old brake fluid. Pull the clutch lever in, open the bleed valve and watch the oil flow. Once it stops, close the bleed valve and release the clutch lever. Repeat until all the old oil and bubbles are out of the system. Refill the reservoir as you go with new Dot 4 brake fluid. Mine had not been changed in 10 years and was filthy. Funny thing the clutch is working much better now.

Thanks for this it was a useful start to my adventure. I have the WL8060P1 which is quite similar. After following your instructions and removing the lid and pulling out the 4 screws, I found that my top part wouldn't slide forward. I ended up removing the control panel and having to loosen the cables to allow it to lift up, and then it slide off beautifully. I ended up pulling the agitator out, drum out, and found significant coins, hair clips and ties and other debris in the bottom. I'm hoping this is what was causing the out of balance. Only posting this for other people

This solved the drag on my 300 Exc sixdays. I was about to replace the clutch and thought I would try this first. Thanks for the tip, much appreciated! 👍🏻

Do you know how to remove its top part as whole? Because the top part needs to come off before suspension rods can be replaced. I’ve been searching online but could not find any information

Hi Stephen, thank you! Yours is the only video I've found so far where the washer lid is similar to mine. I'd like to go the next step and remove the whole top assembly so I can get to the lid-locking device and disable it. I'd call a service person, but as I'm in Fiji, it's clearly a DIY job. Thanks for any suggestions!
