Hello, how are you? My name is Pablo, and I’m from Argentina. I’ve been a student of A Course in Miracles for over 20 years. I want to start by saying that I fully resonate with what you’re saying and understand it in the same way. However, I’d like to ask you a question to hear your interpretation. The Course speaks about the Son of God, who is also God Himself or an extension of God-like the Sun and its rays: the rays share the same essence as the Sun, yet they are not the Sun itself. But in other passages, it states that the Son of God and God are the same. So, my question is this: could this be a metaphor designed for our dualistic minds on this plane, or is it meant to be taken literally? Additionally, in other parts of the Course, it refers to “Sons of God” in the spiritual realm, which raises another question: Are there more than one Son of God? Could there be multiple Sons of God who, in turn, create other universes? In that sense, the Kingdom of Heaven might resemble a vast network of rays and suns, all sharing the same unity. This unity would stem from an eternal, creative God who extends Himself, while His Sons and their creations-also mentioned in the Course-continue to extend themselves. Let us remember the concept of “creations” in the Kingdom of Heaven and that the Son of God also has His creations. To summarize, is it meant to be taken literally that the Son of God is an extension of God and is dreaming the dream? Or is this simply a metaphorical teaching to describe the same idea, as non-dualistic traditions suggest when they say that God experienced Himself and seemingly separated? There are multiple metaphysical ways to explain this, which is why this question occasionally arises for me. What’s your perspective?
