This sketch is right on the line between hilarity and David Lynch style lucid nightmare.

Bobby Lee did actually appear in the real "Curb". Playing "Sun", a Korean bookie who was suspected, by Larry, of Eating the Greene's family pet dog Oscar!

Meh. Larry isn't racist. This skit could've been funnier had they worked in other stuff, but it's Larry just railing against minorities lol The problem with Larry is in real life he wouldn't be funny, and all his neurotic mannerisms would be painstakingly cringe. Even to his friends. All the "should i tip the *insert job* or "that guy is a *insert nickname*" and then arguing about it is unbearable. Every time some social situation comes up people actually do this now, and it's so hack. He's a great writer, but his actual persona is played out and CYE is just him 24/7. Leon brought some relief, but that's about it.

I think this kind of missed the mark actually, not really criticizing things that the show actually does wrong

I always liked Mad TV, but it always kinda grated on me when they’d do a parody that had to use a “legally distinct” rearrangement of the original theme songs’ or pop song’s melody. I guess that they have to tread very carefully with music and balance a pretty narrow tightrope of “funny”, “recognizable”, and “not copyright infringement”. But still, you’d think they’d just be protected under parody laws if they just used the actual song.
