I guess that depends on what opponent you have, maybe a play for relics to deny them from civs like Delhi, etc...I mean just the fact of a FC play being unexpected from JD would probably create from anxiety in any opponent right? ahaha, so yeah I'd say there's a lot of different reasons, and they depend on the game conditions.

Although I'm not ranked that high, common sense says that every patch that comes out COMPLETELY changes the meta for every single civ in the game, including effective match-ups. Malians is no different, take Jav Throwers for example...one of Malians unique units. They just aren't strong enough to be a go-to ranged unit in late games because they need to be buffed..I see more Conqueror players going for archers instead. I'll do a Malians fast castle build next and try to talk about all of these things! That's exactly what this channel is all about my dude!

@@TheEquisdelol I'd say water would have entirely different build order! Check out my Rus water build for canal, it starts with a 1 & 5 split on food and wood if I recall correctly. But that alone would change the entire complexion of the build order itself, is what I'm gettin at!

absolutely! It's 100% one of those hidden bucket-list items, in my opinion. Takes about 7 nights if you take your time. On my solo trip down, I made it to South Dakota in about 5 days, my fam flew there, so I was able to push about 12 hours a day driving, haulin ass thru the Yukon LOL. On the way back up, we caravanned and I drove up a 26 foot U-Haul, packed to the CEILING. I had to have been a couple thousand pounds over recommended weight...but we made it in one piece last summer haha! Was still worth the drive.

spot on! consistent aggression thru raids is SO effective during the course of the game, especially if you can micro to maintain multiple raids at once. I'm also seeing the HRE meta switch to early aggro (typically with spearmen) to contest opponent gold, or wood, or whatever is most exposed early on! So with that said, I think HRE nerfs are on the way eventually. Thanks for watching!!

absolutely agree, HRE needs nerfing for sure, maybe on the Aachen Chapel? - I did notice that in this particular game, Crackedy only had about 12 farms around the Chapel and was pumping a ton of food. Not the player's fault at all either! Delhi is very tough - I did put out a 9 FC Delhi build order, it's not perfect, but it may help u with the early game! Also, check out aoe4guides.com, a TON of work on there too by other players.

it feels SO wrong ahaha, feudal Delhi is all we knew for like 3 years LOL

yeah dude! OOTD is definitely a tricky one with having less units overall, but them being way more tanky, it's interesting. It takes more micro in my opinion because it's so much more important to keep your units alive early game. The more units massed together = the better.

Thanks for your input, great points! This one is a bit of a stretch, I can't lie! 11 Minutes is just too long, unless the map favors base-building, or walls get built too - but that's what these are all about, we can tweak things as needed for sure. Thanks again for watching!
