Flail Mowing - Kubota B7100

Older, compact tractor with a flail mower attached. Betstco Flail Mower Tractor info: www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/001/2/7/1271-kubota-b7100.html
My great grandpa had the same tractor. It’s been parked up for 13 years. Should definitely restore it
Where can I get that kind of mower? I have a b7200.
Such awesome little tractors! I wish I could get my hands on one.
Selling 1 in Lafayette Louisiana
I’ve got one of them…. One of the pleasures in life!
That's a nice setup!
What year is the tractor
Why a flail mower here and not a bushhog
Che trincia è?

COOL
So relaxing. One of the great unknown pleasures in life... A Kubota and smallholding
Best tractor ever made my opinion
What would be a fair price for one of these tractors?
Hi my friend, which low range and pto speed were you using? thank you
Dandy little tractors
IDK if I'd prefer a flail mower over a traditional style mower.
Mantap bro pakcek ada satu ,utuber Ahmad puad subcribe ye pakcek dah subcribe dan laike anda
The very best compact tractor in the world!
my family has 3 b7100s 2 of which are working insanly well the 3rd we bought a week ago the tractor is very rusted but is in very good condition.
Q cosa mas preciosa de tractorcito
I have a B7100 DT. (DT is gear driven for those who don't know). 16hp diesel engine is impressively strong. The tractor weighs around 1040 pounds but should be 1500 pounds. I have the agricultural tires and pulling something heavy it'll lose traction spinning all 4 tires. The B7100 is a little beast.
I want to purchase a flail mower for my b7100 hst. What is the best size to get for 1.5 acres of grass and should I get hammers or Y flails. I've been advised 1.15m is the max for my tractor but I don't want to crawl at snails pace with something too big.
How much
I NEED that mower plz
you sure torn harry potter's friend arm.

Does this tractor have a water pump?
Im haveing problems with over heating i flushed the radiator afterwards i patched a few pin holes in radiator and made shut belt was tight and shroud was in place
All water cooled engines have a water pump of some description when talking about "modern" engines, that is pre much from the 30s and newer, probably before that too
@@nickwhite6717 - Many of these tractors (B5000, B6000, B7000) didn't have a water pump. Those who don't have it, rely on the thermosiphon system for water circulation! Rather crude but simple (cheap) system! Regarding Steven Hickman question on these particular one I don't know if there is a water pump. As described above, many of these models variants came with and without water pump. Without the owner confirmation, or a clear picture, its rather difficult to assert. Making an educated guess I would say this one, in particular, came with a water pump. ;-)
@@crpth1 news to me but willing to listen. Thermosyphon is a very crude but i suppose in constant rpm op such as this it could work sufficiently enough
I serviced that model back in the mid 80's that the cemetary owned with a belly mower. I was very impressed with it. Nice you had the Tractor Data link handy. I have a nice '84 J.D. 750 with p.s. and turf tires that I'm pretty sure I'd rather have. Nice video, nice tractor, nice place, Thanks for sharing.

Quanto custa um trato desses
Ola, Eu comprei ou meu a dois anos e estou muitíssimo contente com a máquina....B7000... Pagamento 3,000.00 com freze e caxia basculante ❤❤
*It's really nice to have a small machine to make life happier. Angel.*
Best fidio
This just showed up in my feed. Nice! (I shared Basie's concern, though.) I really like them. How long did it take you to make them?
Not too long. Maybe a few hours total? And yeah, sped-up video of using a jigsaw totally makes it look more dangerous than it was.
Was I worried you were going to lose a finger most of the video? Yes Were these super cute? Also yes
😄
More vídeos. Great job.
Could you please advise what is the fuel tank height (whithout filling top height). Thank you
Good video...Did you have any bogging down while going through the really tall stuff? Also, do you think the same mower, but the 48” model would be too much for that tractor to handle?
I'd hesitate to get the wider model with a B7100 unless you were sticking with the kind of rough grass I'm mowing here. I have mowed some rougher areas with this model and while it did fine I don't think I'd want to go any bigger for that stuff. Maybe the type of flails also impacts performance? I have the Y flails on this. I also can't remember what the weight of the wider mower was ... that alone could be a dealbreaker with this tractor.
I'm going to purchase a flail mower for my b7100 hst. It will mow 1.5acres of grass. What is the maximum width mower I could use.
Is that a 3.5 foot mower because that’s what I had to get for mine?
It's this one: betstco.com/product/fh-ef85/ Only one I found that I could be sure my tractor could handle.
This is pretty much the same as the tractor I have a yanmar 140 and that thing is a beast for its size and sips diesel fuel I can easily mow 5 acres on a gallon and a half of fuel. Unfortunately mine isn’t 4x4, but that pedal that locks in positive traction saved me many times.
What mower do you have and how long does it take to cut
@@russ4294 I have a Titan 3.5 ‘ brush hog and it takes a few hours.
I can fully relate to going under low branches, they remove hats and glasses quite efficiently 😳
Successfully navigating tree branches while maintaining possession of hat and glasses is a true art form.
I own a B7100 HST. Love the hydrostatic drive. My wheels are rotting from being filled with calcium chloride! Anybody that has any good rims for sale let me know please. lrivers049@gmail.com Thanks.
Japanese tractors don't age, if you take care of em they will outlive many generations, i mean this one here is almost 50 years old and a lot of japanese tractors are, and you wouldn't even guess they are if they are cleaned
These older Japanese tractors are robust simplicity to it's best! I have an older Satoh (later became Mitsubishi) 15hp 2 cyl. diesel. Very similar package as the one in the video. Due to several issues and the damn Covid19. That thing was "abandoned", in another country (literally), for two years in a row. I went there a few weeks ago. Useless to say the battery was dead as a Dodo, but I put auxiliary battery cables. And in a matter of seconds the old tractor was back to life!! Running on the same old diesel I left in the tank two years ago!! Honestly, to my great surprise and my neighbor who witness the all scene! Meanwhile I brought it with me. Cleaned the dust and the million spider webs that came along! Changed oil, cleaned the air filter, lubed everything on sight, etc. Inclusive charged the SAME battery! Yep, it's holding charge just fine! The fact remain that the paint is looking sad, to say the least. The seat rubber as been plucked by the birds! So great swaths of it are simply not there anymore! BUT, lo and behold, the tractor start, run and perform AS NEW! Whoever can get it's hands on one of this simply amazing workhorses. Can consider himself a lucky Man. ;-)
Thinking about a Betstco FH-EFG125 48” medium duty to pull my MF GC1705. Planning on getting it with hammers to replace my bush hog. Any complaints or maintenance issues?
I've had no issues at all and it's done a great job where I've used it. I have the Y flails on it so I can't speak to how well the hammers will work for you. I've also had a great experience with Betstco's customer service so far (which is important to me) if that helps.
Looks like just the tool for the job. Lol. Much better. I have a Kubota and a few videos on our channel “Outdoors and Country Living”. Check it out and subscribe if you like. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
Nice video's! B7100s are awesome little tractors.
Yes they are!
Nice video. Too short, though. :) It doesn't look like you have to deal with stones.
I should have a longer one out soon-ish. No. No stones there. The larger plot on the other property has tons of stones though.
