Poet and Writer. Born in Scunthorpe North Lincolnshire from a working class background on the council estates of Scunthorpe North Lincolnshire. Educated at Frederick Gough Comprehensive School, in one of his early comedy sketches he claimed to hold the record as the only child in the history of the North Lincolnshire comprehensive school education system ever to play truant and hide in the library.
