Lewis Christmas 1952
Old 16mm my dad found in a box of Christmas 1952. I had it transferred to a DVD and it was great to see my family when they were younger. ENJOY!

❤
Christmas was magical back then.
a timeless video and a much needed escape from this present world of ours.....thanks for the upload...
I would have to say , looking at the presents on show , this household was quite well off for the time, Those children must have wonderful memories from this time,
Trains were the worst toy ever.
This video is amazing!! A 1952 Christmas home video is a treasure!!! 🎅🏼🤶🏼♥️👏🏼 I was not born till 1958! .... Thank you so much for posting this video!!!! I noticed that there was an I love Lucy & Desi Arnaz picture!
Beautiful ! God Bless your beautiful family always ! Merry Christmas fr.Canada .
Wow, Merry Christmas in advance to all!!! 🎉🍬☃️🎄🍉🎂🥰🎊🍷🙏🍒🎄☃️🎉
Oh, I got a royal blue Schwinn bike like that one a few years later than this movie. Wonderful footage!
Kids got a lot for that time period........but all parents who grew up in the depression made sure their kids got what they didn’t.......human nature I guess.
My oldest daughter lived in texas for a bit//fortbliss//
I cry when i see things like this/thank you for sharing your christmas with us//
Seeing that bike reminded me that I had those training wheels, too. I wanted them because I liked the way they looked. I only needed them for a couple weeks and my father was not happy.
I was 1 year old then.
Oh those 50's toys and a quality movie camera saved it all to history!
Just like my Christmases growing up.
Thanks for sharing! I was not born until 1958 and I love this video great toys beautiful family.
My uncle Boyce has a genuine Lionel train that makes real smoke and whistles like a real train. It has a long round track and r has teeny bits of real coal. He is 73 years old. Your train reminds me of the train.
Special.❤️❤️❤️
The ice cream cups were amazing! Lol
The only gift that required electricity was the train. Everything else was "kid powered". It was great to see the children being ACTIVE !!
Bellissimo video
I know you heard this before but.... Just think those toys would be worth a lot of money if you kept them!😄😄😄😄
The fishing I was at in the 60s.
I was born in 1952.... this is interesting. Thanks
Wow! We were so poor in 1952 but I did get a tricycle.
Eu gostaria de na minha infância ter tido um Natal assim , mas o que tinha era pobreza. As familias dos EUA fizeram bem em proporcionar esta alegria para as crianças .
Cool vintage toys!
that silver jet liner was amazing!
❤️👍❤️🤡❤️😎❤️😻❤️🥂❤️
They are all good presents , they were lucky children
We were living in eastern Kentucky and were cash poor. I would have called these children rich.
@@kentuckylady2990 it must suck to be poor...
Nice. Thank you. Anyone else notice Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball?
David Alcarez I did. Couldn’t figure out exactly what it was though.
@@lauranorwar I have been wondering the same thing. It is difficult to tell. Only recognize their picture
yes i did//she put out a baby doll back then//you can buy it today as well.
It appears that there are some other Holidays filmed as well - like Easter or a Church Festival with the children's " Fish Pond " game!
I love Lucy! ❤
I was the age of the young boy in this footage in the early 60s; fascinating to see how little was different. (We had that train; our bikes were about the same; my sister had a baby coach like the one seen here...) Thanks for the upload!
That was early 50s
Wow. What a wonderful video. My Dad was 4 yrs old Christmas of 52.You guys were lucky to have a video camera back then!
Movie camera. And I concur!
Super 8 or 16 with real film...
