I've been taking camp showers with a "modified" sprayer bottle for years. I've painted mine black, so the water gets hot really quick, and I've replaced the sprayer head with one meant for a kitchen sink, its great.

great review. A few questions. My truck is similar to yours being a 2013 frontier. I have tries a few 7" screens and they kind of block my view. This looks good. 1. How is the glare? 2. How is it in direct sunlight? At 7 am my westerly drive to work has me running from the sun. The few I tested I could not see the screen. If I held my Samsung phone up next to it I could see my phone perfectly just not the Android Audio. 3. How is the sticking mount? Here in the midsouth it has been getting hot. When I came out from work it feel when I pushed the screen. Thanks

When I camp I use my head. I've experienced a couple of times where I "felt" something wrong and packed up and left. Once I was entering a wilderness trail and passed two hunters leaving the wilderness who asked me if I had a gun. I said no and they said I was nuts.

I have an '08. I never thought of putting the bench seat there! Of course! I have a great firm foam mattress that fits with the wider seat gone. I'm short, so I can stretch out. I'm here to learn how to do the rest. Thank You!

Are you sure?Got one in my hand,I'll go admit ,the sound and the voice of it is great. But I have to say,very poor recording!!!The camera is fixed and can't be adjusted high or low.And it only support 2.5K not 4K!When you use Airplay,You'll get a stuck, blurry viewing effect!

Hot in Utah...unless you want to take an hour trip to one of the many mountains and be nice and cool. 😜. Think of those poor saps in places like Florida. When it comes to bins look for ones like the roughneck that have as close to vertical walls as possible. That's a lot of wasted space if you don't. I l love the 58 quart Plano...super rugged and inexpensive.

Nice review. I agree it is an amazing backpack. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and for a long time I have used removable brains as dual- purpose food/bear bags. I considered removing them just to save a little bit of weight, but it's a good spot to store my food so it does not get crushed, and I keep food there so I can attach it to a carabiner and paracord over a branch at night. I now do away with the Whole Foods nylon reusable packable bag I had used for that purpose.

Why put the coolers on the left? You can balance the weight between you and the coolers by placing them on the right instead.

A dop kit looks so much easier than bins and shuffling around.

Buy an Android phone, it has always allowed user to adjust maps by gliding your fingers on screen. I was shocked when i saw how Carplay handles maps, couldn't believe something like this a standard in 2024.

Love the budget overlanding Xterra setup. I have the same truck and will try out some of your ideas like the sleeping storage bin. Keep them coming!

I like that sprayer,I have that portable solar light bought it for about 9.99 when it was very reasonable,wish I got more but I also bought steak ground solar light for cheap you probable could use them for camping just stick in ground or unscrew,use it for 5ge table there fairly cheap at walmart

The lack of zipper access to the main compartment was a deal breaker for me. I went with the Gregory Paragon 58 and It was the right choice for me.

with the lucie lights i just pinch the valve and stretch the accordian out a little. sitting in the sun it almost inflates itself. i use a tiny square piece of red reflective tape next to the off/on button because you can never see where it is and you always end up pushing the other level indicator button ....

Swistech makes a dopp kit bag I found at Walmart for $5 one time. I used it for everything small in my bag and could hang it from a tree. Really wish I hadn't got rid of it.
