The best headlamp that costs half as much as Petzl and B.D.
You don't have to spend $80 plus bucks to get a headlamp. The Nitecore UT27 is $60 and includes more tech and more light. This is a great headlamp that will blow the big boys away.

I really like the Fenix headlamp I have. The rechargeable battery being a standard battery for a lot of different electronics is really nice.
Need some close ups
The only caveat with that Nitecore model specifically is the back plate is made of the cheapest plastic unfortunately… if you even drop it once that goes from a head lamp to a flash light forever. But I will say that Nitecore makes the best headlamps for quality/price. The NU25 is legendary and super light with better brightness than the Petzel I believe. Nitecore makes solid products and best bang for the buck for an everyday light
Talking about big headlamp yet supporting Amazon? Kind of doesn't really make sense to me...
As opposed to not supporting Amazon and paying more money? I don’t know what you mean by that, like what’s your objective by buying from somewhere else besides not liking Amazon (I’m not a fan tbh but it’s kinda baseless). It’s not like you’re gonna hurt Amazon in the slightest… especially their drivers deliver more packages than UPS and USPS combined. They deliver for multiple big vendors. They’re all made in China anyways 🤷♂️
I bought a Petzl Actik for $35 on eBay brand new. It did not come with the rechargeable pack but I wasn't going to argue for the price. I intend on getting the rechargeable battery at some point but was planning on waiting until USB-C is standard. It is a phenomenal headlamp and my go-to for backpacking. I have a Princeton tech headlamp in my hunting bag that I love as well. The interface on that one is dead simple so it's easy to ensure that I'm turning on the mode that I want the first time and also easy to manipulate with thick gloves on during late season hunts. That Night core looks pretty cool so I'll take a look at it If I ever need something different someday but I don't see a reason to go buy a different lamp than what I already have.
Yeah definitely get the Nitecore NU25 with the upgraded UBC (believe it has the yellow solid strap with the two rope straps in back. It’s not super bright (400 lumens I think) but for like $36 you just can’t beat having that as a backup. Nitecore could’ve hit a homerun with this latest model if they didn’t cheap out on a .50 cent piece of plastic they could’ve 3D printed. But the NU25 are solid even if you just use them for around the house or a backup
Petzl's reactive lighting makes them the king. I forget what the original version with the technology was called, but I owned it for several years. Now I'm using the Swft RL with 1100 lumens and it's amazing.
I would gladly buy the Swift RL for double the cost of the Nitecore ut27, which has 300 less lumens.
I just received mine and spent my first night in it. - 15 c. I love this tent
What about seeing licenses.
One TH-camr I follow stakes out both doors before he inserts the pole, another TH-camr stakes out one door, inserts the pole, stakes the other door, then does all the other stakes. It takes them 10 or 15 minutes to set it all up.
pretty cool especially on older cars that would be a game changer for cars with a crap blind spots.
Great video! How long was the drive to the trailhead from Green River? And is it really technical? Soft sand?
What length is the rear cable
Very educational. Are you able to provide us another video about pros and cons of dry ice? Travelling with dry ice tips, ventilating on long camping trips? Contemplating upgrading to thick new coolers vs cheaper cooler with dry ice. Only been using regular ice and not so comfortable with travelling with dry ice inside a vehicle.
I really like these kits. I'm considering a second rolling box, a third small box, a couple more medium boxes and the ice box. Unfortunately, the only HD within 60 miles does a crap job of stocking anything but the large box/dolly.
Are You 😮DOrK in the Roads, ? Brother Ua`~ all Sound & Look 😊SimuLar, bye
I almost bought this unit bcause its got a free 64gb but i bought the 10.25 xgody nstead but it doesn't come with the disk my guess is that the one i have may have better connections and the sreen is different too. Time will tell if it goes past a yr of use on my highlander.
Enjoyed the video. Seems like you did a great job getting a stock suv over some of those ledges. But I will say that none of them were 3-4 ft fight. You can see how large they are compared to your tires. They’re all 1-2 high… which is high in a stock suv.
I really want one but Don't you have to remove it every time you leave the car as thieves will see it's portable and attempt to steal it? That just makes it hassle
I've left mine in every day since purchasing. Nobody has bothered with it so far. My feeling is nobody probably cares that much since it's just a screen and not an actual stereo. Most cars have them these days so it's not that big of a deal.
Ah, bro lost the challenge when he busted out the bug net🤦♂️
The eye on top is for cooking. Even on modern wood burning kitcken stoves, most of them have eyes like that with various sized discs and rings for different sized cookware.
this, by design, is not a 4 season tent.. especially for the winter season. What makes a winter compatible, therefore a 4 season tent, is the skirt lenght of the outer shell. Like this tent here, if it's raised, then this allows snow to drift in. Outer shell needs to be all the to the ground to prevent just that. Also, it doesn't have top side vent. Heat rising up during freezing season will freeze up the condensation and the interior will be pretty much covered in ice. That's why top side cross vent is a key feature in a 4 season tent. Plus, the door zippers gotta allow users to open them from the top, leaving bottom closed. This is to keep snow from drifting into the vestibular space.
Seems like a good tent.
I have this exact one. its been 2 winter seasons and its amazing. One thing though, definitely use a footprint. I live in Colorado and it will get icy and the ice will rip under the tent. I had to patch a few spots. That's a user error, not design issue! I also use the onetigris cozshack with my brother as our "living room". We upgraded this season from the onetrigirs tegimen. Enjoy!
↟↟Thank Уou for the review Bro.. love this tepee style camping👍🏻 What are Your pros and cons for this tent after a year of experience?🤔
Who cares about the gf living near or far from the park? They should ban dogs and or dogs owners with 100feet long leashes
I've been using the Brs for over a year.... The space savings is amazing.

There is good news, the Explore Act was just passed in congress and awaits the presidents signature and it completely changes filming laws on federal lands in a good way, look into it.

Just hooked mine up today. I can't believe how easy it was to get it working and mounted. I used the 3M tape that comes with it. Mine didn't have an option to screw it to the dash which I found surprising. I guess they stopped offering that (?). Anyway, it works great. I don't have any lag at all.
Running the RC16 . Has been excellent for us so far
. Just do NOT get Camping Toilets that use Disposable Bags. The Bags POOP! ... I Mean, POP! And the Garbage Men HATE That they do. I use one because I can Not afford the $20,000 plus Above Ground Septic System I am suppose to have but legally don't have to. They Garbage Men said they would Refuse to take my garbage anymore if I kept throwing away the bags.. So I started throwing them away at the Gas Stations Dumpster down the road. I am No Longer allowed on their land after they found out it was me. So Now after Asking the County and Confirming it is LEGAL, I throw out the waist in Random Spots in MY Yard.. Because there is No Difference, the County Says, than a Wild Animal Or Pet Doing their stuff in My Yard... There are People who have Nothing better to do than Drive around the county and look for stuff to Biotch About and have called the Sheriffs and County on me. And when they show up and tell me why they did, they tell me Not to worry and I am LEGAL, then we talk and joke for about a half hour after that.. I am LEGAL because I Live Outside City Limits by 4 miles..
I like the look of it, I have the BSR-8 Multi-fuel, and if the quality is the same it will be a great little stove. Only $83;00 CAD too.
Good idea putting a lock release mechanism inside! I fixed mine (11 Armada) w/o buying a new actuator with a rubber band.
great overview, sir!
Nice video bro! Where is this Costco location? I don't find these here in Northern California locations.
DO NOT BUY AMAZON TOURNIQUETS!
I came here after watching your 6 months review. The install was really clean. I'm just curious, how was the power source for the Lamtto connected (fuse tap or cigarette lighter connector) and how that aged after 6 months.
These are known to break when you need them most and it's irresponsible to recommend them to your viewers. Find a way to become an affiliate for the legitimate North American Rescue TQs or don't bother because these cheap china copies could cost someone their life that might have otherwise saved themselves.
Thanks much appreciated 👍🏽
Thanks, man! This is exactly what I was looking for. And now I'm off to Amazon... ;)
and this is only for bleeding that is not controlled....not for just fractures. Use it when you you should.
unless it is a really good one, it is worth it to spend the $$$ on a good name brand one...
True CAT Tourniquets cost around 30 bucks. What you have is chinese made flimsy nonsense that may help, but if you're serious about saving your life do not buy the one in your link. Go to North American Rescue. They are a reputable dealer of medical supplies. That tourniquet you have could kill you my friend.
Did you use the cigarrette lighter plug or did you tab into the fuse box?
cigarette lighter
That 'camping moon' fuel transfer valve is brilliant. I am all for anything that reduces waste. Especially with a 'sport' that deals with nature.
I'd take the coleman any of day of the week. This video suggest always having the newest hear is the way to camp. Typical youtube and marketing ploy to buy more stuff. Don't get me wrong I'm a gear junkie. But bashing the old stove doesn't make sense. The only advantage to the new one is size, but thats also its downfall. No one is buying that for backpacking. So room is not a concern because they will be used for car camping. So pros to the coleman over the other....Mainly wind protection, anyone camping knows thats the major issue with cooking outside. The coleman is more steady as you pointed out in the video when usung a table in a garage If its not steady there, chances are it wont be in the wild. Lastly the coleman is proven and can be fixed easily Carry a couple orings and you'll never have to worry. Anywya no hate on this channel. Just a bit of clickbait
Bought mine last month, love it.
How’s it for blocking your view ? That would be my pet peeve
