Our Local Geese hanging out on the Point watching the Late Whale Migration South. I am sorry about the wash out but it is so rare to catch whale spouts off the coast so visible in the contrast I forgave that. And our Geese are so cute. Sometimes I forget to write adjust your volume for White Water in the description. I do not like to distract the view with cards until the end.The echoes in the cove are pretty intense this time of year.

Was that rogue Wave from Japan's earthquake and they just failed to call it a tsunami. California coastline was not the only coastline hit with the rogue wave.
I do not believe it was. Who ever called it a rogue wave was wrong, It was a sneaker wave. That compounded with the Full Moon and the closeness to the Winter Solstice combined with a good winter storm pushed the Surf up. I have been to that stretch of Seaward where the Video of the Wave was recorded. One of my Favorite Hamburger Joints is on that stretch of Road and you can see the people running past it in a couple of shots. Our bluff is approximately 30 Ft with reefs that knock most waves down before reaching us. My Videos across our cove from this storm showed the unprotected South facing Point get some good hits wiping out the Pigeon Homes which are built by Pigeons every Summer. They typically build at 30 ft.
