I agree! So does all of the crews that work for the company, that’s why we still do so many hand fire shows… pretty much everything but pyromusicals and baseball games 😄

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to shoot any of the baseball games this year besides a Railriders game because I took a new full time job at a hospital that is even further than the one I used to work at… they were supposed to let me go to 12hr or 10hr shifts but that never happened, so haven’t been available to shoot the ballgames since they are usually on Fridays. It’s the same company shooting the crosscutters fireworks though, so should be the same as usual

Not yet unfortunately, I was recently told to check for clogged cat converters and or that it may caused from the intake manifold leak I have

@@pyropenguino it was made with some star molecule dark al powder. The finest particle size I’ve been able to find yet!

It’s been a while since I changed the air filter, been meaning to change it. All the fluids are good. I’m thinking it’s a sensor too just not sure which one. I think I might try and change the cam position sensor next and see if that solves it. I was watching a video on symptoms of a bad cam sensor and it seems to match a lot of those symptoms… but so does a lot of other problems so it’s been driving me nuts trying to figure it out

Same here man, that’s all I use anymore unless it’s small reports. It doesn’t work too well in small quantities

@@HomeGrownPyro1 really ? I find it works in my 3 gram salutes. I even use 70/20/10 with the 20 being TPA.

@@BearValleyPyro True, I should have stated the percentages. The ratio you are using works pretty good in most size salutes. I just had one batch where a couple out of the batch that blew the end plugs out with a small pop and then burnt slow like tpa flash does when not confined… The rest of them worked fine. So not sure what the issue was, could have been the glue I used or not mixed good enough maybe.

Hey no problem, that was a good idea on your end bc I got a lot more views on that video than usual. So I guess that means people want to see more stuff like that. So I’m going to try to mix do some more editing and add more of a variety to the channel. I think I’m going to start building more and record some of that like my channel originally started out as, hence the name. Thank you

If you are doing the Crosscutters this Saturday the 12th do you think you could add a bunch of salutes during the end of the finale if you’re in control of that. I think that would be a dope way to end not just the firework show, but the firework season at the Crosscutters 2023. I also love salutes, and would love to see more of them, specifically only them all at once.

Pretty much, but added about 25% BP coated rice hulls, to act as a filler material and to test to see if it deepened the sound and gave it more of a punch, when using tpa flash, along with the BP hulls

@@DavidV.AmendolaYou can fill the tube as well if that’s what you want to do. I was just testing different methods because in my opinion it feels like a waste of flash powder after a certain point because you can’t notice much of a difference from a tube filled half way with flash vs 3/4 full.

Just had to sub to your channel again brother… can’t stand how TH-cam screws over Pyro channels. I’m convinced they remove subs from channels. Yours isn’t the first time I’ve have to subscribe multiple times to their channel either. With my channel I’ve noticed every time I gain 2-3 new subs, a day or so later I lose 1 or 2

Hello, unfortunately I do not, I had to shoot some other shows each day around the 4th, so I wasn’t at the Crosscutters for the last show. One of the other guys on the crew shot it. I’ll check out the video on your channel

Thank you, I liked the video you posted as well….much better footage than mine lol. But yea I’ll include some set up footage for the next show. The whistling shells are new product we got for this year. They are 3” display shells that each have a plastic tube tied to the top of the shell with a whistle mix pressed in that ignites with the lift charge like the rising tails do.

How did you get into the professional side of pyrotechnics braddah if you mind me asking !? I know I would have to apply for type 54 license right and what else ??

@@bigislandpyro8085hey sorry for the late reply I didn’t get a notification so just seeing it now. But here in PA you don’t necessarily need a type 54 license to shoot professional fireworks. You can work for a display company without having your own type 54 and all the employees work under the companies license. The company does a pre employment background check with the ATF and the ATF approves or denies the employee based on the outcome of the background check. Once approved you are added as a authorized person under the companies atf license. Some other states are different. For example, the company does some shows in Maryland, New York and Delaware for other Aa and AAA baseball teams and in those states everyone needs to have their own ATF license in order to shoot shows there. So basically the employees that shoot those shows live in the state and are licensed there. I personally like the way PA does it and it works just fine that way and doesn’t make it so hard for the display companies to find employees to work the shows. Now on the other hand if you wanted to try to pick up some of your own shows and shoot any 1.3g display fireworks for it, then you would need to go through the process of obtaining your type 54 license. Also PA has some tricky laws with driving on public roadways with explosives and basically need to have a CDL with hazmat license to transport any 1.3g product to the shoot sites and have to place placards on all 4 sides of the box truck that are orange and say explosives 1.3g on it. So for shows where none of the employees have a CDL license w/hazmat endorsement, the fireworks are dropped off separately from the truck with the racks and supplies in it, by one of the CDL drivers. Let me know if you have any other questions or if you’re ever interested in trying it out and want to work some shows. The company is contracted to shoot shows all over PA with the majority located in and around central and the eastern half of the sate, so always looking for new people that want to work some shows.
