No companies in the USA stepped up with a reasonable pricing and distribution system for the products China has stepped up to do. When the usable half life of these products of 20-40yrs. and the limited resources for parent minerals, recycling and alternative sources of energy already spell the limited duration of these industries. Without doubt they will reduce the air polution levels around the world. They are unlikely to be the best long term source of low polution energy! They are a good intermediate step.

Personally it would be idiotic to purchase Turkish jets, they are unproven, Turkey has no experience in this field, the Kaan uses old engines sourced from obsolete US jets, if anything these jets are 4th Gen at best, definitely not 5th Gen and definitely not stealth as the engines used are not capable of such things. I would say this is Turkeys attempt to show they can build a jet even though it is no better than the F-16 jets they have. Saudi Arabia would be better positioned purchasing either the French Rafale, Swedish Gripen E fighter, Eurofighter or even the Russian SU-35 or SU-57, if they purchase any jets from Turkey it will be for symbolic reasons and i doubt they will ever be flown.
