if you are going to set up the wheel yourself, make sure you are not overworking the wheel, sometimes if you put way too strong ffb settings you might be demanding more than the wheel can handle and overtime it can damage a tad bit also, dont use dirty stinky feet to use the pedals, if you get dirt or debris inside the thing (which happens more often than not) you are going to cause some buggy issues with the pedal thingys, and the only way to fix it is to open the pedal box, and clean the little capacitors with compressed air or contact cleaner (talking from experience since this happended to me and yea)

Yo i bought a G29 like 3 Months ago learned a lot in that time. For Beamng read some tutorials with iRacings wheel calibrator it makes a file to put into beamng foleer so the wheel acrtually gives force feedback and not just that boring center spring

Have you ever tried assetto corsa? I played it last year on shutoku map but I had a shitty ass 270° wheel and I could not control my car lol now I got a used logitech g27 for Christmas if someday you want to play on assetto corsa or beam let me know have great day now here in Italy I would say have a good night but whatever.

try looking into brian koponen beamng wheel settings (search it up on google). it made my experience SO much better in terms of force feedback and overall realism on the g923. anyways cheers, enjoy the wheel

You can put a ratchet strap around the hydraulic thing of your chair and the legs of your desk. Also you can remove a rubber thing in the brake pedal so it’s way softer. Look up a tutorial.
