I helped my nephew with his collection. I gave him an album and a few coins. I wanted him to hunt for others as well as what we found. His dad runs a shop as does his nan, so there's lots of chances.

Well done Dan. My daughter collects 50p's and gets all my cast offs if she needs them, and I do get the offer of any new or odd coins she comes across. As my grandson says sharing is caring "mostly in relation to biscuits and sweeties in his case" ATB matey.

full olympic set not worth too much, a few auctions went for 60-80 this week. most are cheap, only 4 of them are over 10 pound. the rest 1-3 pound each.

I got an old Euro 1996 £2 coin today. I asked the shop owner if he had any picture coins....you know as you do..... He had a look and said "no not any of the new ones but he had this thing that someone had fobbed him off with". I obviously helped him out and gave him a " proper" £2 coin in exchange for it.😉😉

I just received my set of 16 Proof Cameo 1990 50p coins, (40th Anniversary set), painfully expensive! But that means I know have every single 50p coin, in BUNC or NIFC, except for 22 coloured versions, which I will be hunting down!
