Please don't use methanol (class 2) as solvent because you have to use ICH class 3 solvents for these oral dosage forms so kindly refer ICH class 3 solvents (Eg: ethanol )

First you have to do some placebo patches and find out the average thickness of the films then using the thickness and surface area of the petri dish you are using, dose calculation have to be done and how many patches can be obtained from a petri dish also be founded.
