Fully agree, there needs to be more Pacific Theatre reenactments to share the history of what really happened over there.

@@duglife2230 Oh it definitely did! Not sure if you where there the prior year, but we did the main battle with high wind and waves and a lot of the reenactors said that day was their favorite and felt the most realistic of what it would have been like on actual D-Day.

@@Michelkoller1944 Agreed, definitely not an easy call, but safety is always the number one in the end. Hopefully next year we’ll have good weather!

I know I feel so bad! I’m glad some were able to do the bridge battles and such in the morning before the storm, but yeah it’s definitely a shame Saturday’s main battle got rained out for everyone. Happy to hear you at least got to do Friday!

Still had a lot of fun Saturday even though we were rained out by the storm. Good times

@@TheGermanDoughboy Yeah, at least we got a majority of the day in before the rain came. I mean the only bad part about Saturday was holding down all the tent fly's and rushing to get all our equipment covered. But I feel like the battle still could of happened the rain would of made it more fun.
