Been skimming the comments section and decided to add my own two cents in. Keep in mind I haven't actually finished the anime yet so I don't know all the details of the Chairman Election Arc, but I understand the overarching plot. And when it comes to Killua remembering Alluka there's three things I think should be kept in mind. 1. The needle Illumi planted in Killua's brain in order to control him and to make him forget about Alluka and Nanika (which is a ROYALLY fucked up thing to do to someone and acts as a symbol of the abuse Killua's suffered from his family) has been in Killua's head for over two years. We don't know how long exactly, but Killua's reaction to Illumi during their confrontation in the Hunter Exam Arc heavily implies that a) Killua already had the needle implanted in his brain before he ran away from home and b) Illumi had been using it to control him long before he left. So it's been in there a long, LONG time - we can't expect the effects of that to just wear off instantly, especially since there are several canon instances of characters discussing how Nen can persevere even after death and such. So in all likelihood, Killua probably didn't remember Alluka and Nanika immediately. 2. The Chimera Ant Arc is a war arc. When Killua pulled out the needle and started regaining his memories, he was stuck dead-centre in the middle of an active war zone, people they cared about were dying/had died and his best friend had become so hellbent on revenge it'd made him suicidal. There's a lot going on and Killua had a LOT on his mind, and his highest priority at the time was keeping Gon safe. He probably didn't have the mental or emotional energy needed to really process his lost memories, especially the ones of Alluka and Nanika. And even if he did, he's nowhere near enough to help them - he's in another country halfway across the world, fighting for life or death. 3. Part of Killua's trauma from his family is that he has never experienced or understood unconditional love. Up until he reunites with Alluka and Nanika, his perception, understanding and experiences of love have all revolved around how useful he can be to others. It's why he's so happy when Gon says "it has to be Killua" during the dodgeball match in Greed Island and why he's so determined to help Gon fight Pitou/save Kite in CAA, even if it ends up getting him killed - because his upbringing has taught him that love is something you have to earn, that he has to be USEFUL to others in order to be deserving of their love. When he tells Nanika to go away after healing Gon, it's likely his way of trying to let her go free, because she doesn't have a purpose anymore now that Gon's healed and he doesn't want her to struggle the way he did without one. But then Alluka gets furious at him, and demands he apologise to Nanika because if he loves Alluka then he MUST love Nanika too, and this is how Killua finally learns what unconditional love means. Because Alluka unconditionally loves Nanika. And when he has this realisation, he apologises immediately. Killua is far from perfect - he can be cold, rude and sarcastic; he often fails to communicate important information with others, instead resolving to deal with it all himself; and he sometimes regresses due to the trauma his family's left him with. But he genuinely loves and cares for the people close to him, especially his sisters, and he is genuinely trying to be better - he still has a lot of learning and growing to do, and the path of healing is never truly straightforward. So it's my hope that in future we get to see him continue to develop his relationship with his sisters and grow into unconditional love.

Bro Retz is such a queen, I love her. She stands up to her shitty older brother, then literally stabs him in the back when he threatens the people she cares about and THEN she sacrifices herself to the fire. And when she does that, it's KILLUA who calls out to her in distress. Plus she stands up for herself whenever Killua is being a bit of a jerk - and it's only, like, two scenes that he does this, otherwise he's chill with her. She's a genuinely good character, she just got dealt a bad hand because she's from a poorly-executed spin-off film. But I love her, she's great. She and Gon and Killua vibe so well together, and there's so many little parallels between their characters that just make them work.
