hello I have a yamaha raptor 660r 2005 that does exactly the same thing to me at half throttle cuts in relenti it goes well and if I accelerate atope it goes well it only fails me at half throttle what could it be?thank you

The original fan had three screws holding it to the shroud, the new fan has four. How did you mount it?

Is that the only grease point for the pump bearings? Or is there one on the other side next to the other motor as well? Sorry for the dumb question

Mine stalls out after riding for so long and it’s always around the high end of the second gear but I can trick the bike to keep running with the kill switch! That’s just after 15 mins of riding and it warmed up for about 15 mins aswell before I drive?

So I have a all stock 660r and it has stock jettings and all the switches are good there’s no leak or air leaks or anything but when I’m driving it slow it drives fine when I’m at full throttle it drives fine but when I drive it at cruse around mid throttle it backfires and blows air back out of the carbs

If you have mid range problems and still want to ride. Adjust your fuel dial to off then go 1/4 turn to reserve. Once that is set, push your choke lever half way. Full revs back

mine did that and it needed the valves adjusted as well as the spark plug port had water inside

I am going to have to check my valve clearances. Mine wont start unless i have the choke full on and manually release it once it is fully warmed up. It also backfires a ton when I get off the accelerator (decel)

Did it have the right connector or did you cut and reuse the old one?

How has the fan bin holding up mine just died on my 16 xxc and bin debating on going with the spal fan

its called rev limiter while sitting in neutral it will not allow you to rev the engine

How did you mount the fan from the inside of the housing?

Definitely carburetor they have a twin carburetor setup primary carb is left side secondary carbs for higher throttle position secondary carbs opens up

Mine did that when the timing chain stretched. Sounds like yours is rattling

Just a quick update on this one.. The chattering noise you are hearing would not be cleared up by greasing these bearings. Most likely the noise is from clearance issues with the impeller and wear rings. I'll be replacing the wear rings and inspecting the impellers in a few weeks and will make a video doing so. Thanks for watching!

I have a 17 212x same rattling noises when it’s out of the water idling. Definitely a good video though. I need to start greasing that. Is there any other grease spots on the HO engines ? Thanks

What fixed you’re problem because when I have mine in neutral it revs good but when I’m driving it and full throttle it starts to sputter

the noise your hearing isn't from that bearing. it comes from the jet pump assembly. this noise is normal for it and all jetski as well.

How long are the cords from the led strip to the power unit?

I just bought a 2021 AR190 with the 1.8 engine. How aften should I grease that part. Every year about 5 pumps a year? Anyone have an idea? thanks.
