@Strawberry-Design-ideas I can buy a high end stick and motar home for around $100 per square foot there is no way I would pay $368 for a sardine can and then have problems finding a place to park it where I wouldn't run afowl of zoning laws.

@ One thing that could lower cost is if we go back to “DIY” doing it ourselves, or at least helping during the build. When Tiny houses first started it was more hands on for the home owners but now it a major business. There are still companies that build beautiful tiny homes under 100k. In ten years the price for the homes have doubled, some even tripled. They started out as an affordable means and now they’ve become trendy. In 10 years, the prices for the homes have doubled, some even tripled ($40k to over $150k) as a result.
