What to do in JEONJU: hanok village, food, hotel, cathedral, palace, movies | Korea Travel Vlog
Hi there:)
I've been living in Korea for about 5 years now and I finally made the time to go visit Jeonju. To be honest, as a Korean, seeing the hanok, traditional Korean stuff wasn't as mind blowingly fun, BUT surviving the heat, sitting here and there, led to making unforgettable summer memories :)
I totally recommend checking out Jeonju if you don't have a car! Many things were in one area and walking distance from each other so it was convenient.
Hope you enjoy exploring Jeonju with us ;)
Also, let's be friends ;)

Hi there, Today, I write my description with a heavy heart. I would like to dedicate this video to my Thai friend who passed away on August 19th, 2024. I've known him since I was a kid and looked up to him as a big brother. He was the life of the party, so talented at singing and playing all kinds of instruments eventhough he was never professionally taught, care-free personality, always teasin...

Hi there :) Keeping a work-life balance is hard but if it was easy, everyone would do it right? Happiness is not too far away. Little things like getting food after work with friends, going on picnics or walks, singing your heart out at karaoke, or even rolling around in bed at home can make life more worthwhile. Hope you find pockets of peace and happiness during your days too! Also, let's be ...

Hi there :) Keeping a work-life balance is hard but if it was easy, everyone would do it right? I took the initiative to take time off work to go see my family in Jeju. Sometimes I get so caught up at work that I forget there's a whole big world outside of the company. Being able to take a break from the city and instead be surrounded by the calm, quiet nature and beach in Jeju island is the pe...

Hi there:) This is how I spent my last day in Hong Kong. I went to Macau! I am not a very spontaneous person so I was surprised at how well I went with the flow on this day. We got all our tickets last minute but made it on time, went to all the touristy spots by just researching on the way...it felt so freeing to be able to just go with the flow and be happy with whatever happened haha This Ho...

Hello there :) This is DAY 2 of my HK trip so if you want to be caught up, go watch DAY 1 first hehe if not, you're welcome to watch anyways ❤️ As someone who is now working, even if I take time off work, it's still hard for me to enjoy my "vacation" since MORE work will be waiting for me once I get back...BUT if I dwell on that too much, I will never find the time to do anything right? [Day OFF] weekends in Seoul, South Korea 😇 | Work-Life Balance
มุมมอง 6866 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hi there :) Keeping a work-life balance is hard because after work, we're exhausted right? For me though, I never want to lose myself, my identity, my hobbies from being too tired from work. I used to feel the pressure of needing to do extravagant things to have fun. But I realized, happiness is closer than I thought. A simple walk, drinking coffee at a cafe, reading a book in the sun..Some may...

Hi there :) I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM OFFICIALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL! Now, when people ask me what I do, it still feels awkward to say "i'm working" rather than, "i'm a student"..I guess this is what it feels like to grow up.. Hello:) if you're taking the time to read the description, I love you extra more hehe As I'm closing a big chapter in my life, I wanted to reflect and reminisce before moving on. Not going to lie, it kind of scares me to be this truthful and vulnerable on the internet but please, don't forget that I am only speaking from MY experience. No where is perfect. I am not perfect either. There are pro...

Hi there:) it's been awhile since I uploaded a video! Ever since I came back to Seoul after all the traveling, I haven’t been feeling great. The time has come, for me to say goodbye to Uganda. I have never cried this much in my life over saying goodbye to people. Even when I was leaving my parents to go to university in Korea, I wasn't this emotional. Saying goodbye to the boys and girls I've become friends with in Uganda has been the hardest thing I've ever endured. Even I was taken aback from the amount of tears I was producing LO...

Hi there:) Since I grew up in South East Asia, I thought that I've seen plenty of beautiful nature. But nope. Uganda has taken me by surprise because the nature here, hits different. Even when I am at someone's house, casually driving around, the vast green-ness, the richness of nature, the sunsets I've seen are on another level of beauty. I even decided that if I ever live in Uganda, I want to...

Hi there:) I've always loved art but this was my first time doing something so permanent. There were many difficulties I had to figure out along the way because this was my first time painting on a wall and I am not a professional haha But I think it turned out pretty good! There was a painter who taught me how to mix the paint in the beginning, but other than that, I completed this mural all o...

hi joey! just wanted to say thank you so much for this video because its such a warm feeling to see someone who experiences the same thing as me as an international student (im indonesian studying in malaysian btw:0). i never knew i could be this relatable for my anxiety that i felt on my entire bachelor degree. "time makes us forget, and love makes us remember" ugh i loovee this phrase!! now im on my 2nd year of corporate life and i couldnt be happier, as by the time i finally can see my worth more and figure out lots of things for my career path. and along with that, i'm planning my master's scholarship as the way for me to 'forgive' my past self and create new memories! i hope the best luckkk for you and your endeavor!! <33
Hi where is that restaurant w the view of the beach at 1:30?
“Ugandans love education.” 😂 High school is even worse we sometimes just sit in our little groups and cry about it 😂. The children are scared of the teachers most probably because of caning or flogging as I hear some people call it.
I loved the video though ❤
so nice and so enjoy to watch this video , i am planning to Jeju this winter, hope to see snow there over Christmas.
that was a real safari
you are very funny
this episode was so emotional
You are very thoughtful Joey

If I was there, I would have hugged you. I also have same situation in my college days. But believe me, you'll be alright. I've faced it for 4 years. After that only I'm starting again. Ypu made me cry. It is the same story, same feelings, 'I belong to nowhere'. I understand you....🫂🫂
What did you graduate as?
This is really true copying notes from the blackboard, waking up at 4am, just so wow and we are so used to.😂😂

hi, I'm your 1000th subscriber. This resonated with me as I had also lived abroad for most of my childhood, and I've been here two years now but I don't really think I've adjusted fully. A few weeks ago, I went back to where I used to live for a fortnight, and those in those two weeks I felt happier than I ever had in South Korea. Now, I'm not sure which culture I belong in anymore! But it does feel a lot better to see that other people have had similar experiences to me. Thank you sooo much for making this video :)
Why do they wake up the kids that early? Primary school isn't supposed to be that brutal.
That's Uganda 🇺🇬 for u darling I used to wakeup ay 4am sometimes 3am

3:41 You have managed to give me the vocabulary to describe the struggle that I had since year 1. I came from a similar background as you. I spent 15 years studying in the same international school in Thailand, ended up getting accepted into one of the top universities in Taiwan for my program, and also getting a government scholarship. Suffice to say, I was confident in my academics, extracurriculars, and my place in a larger community. It all came crashing down when I came to Taiwan. Due to my Chinese heritage, my Taiwanese classmates weren't able to discern me visually from local students - until I opened my mouth to speak. Despite being taught to read, speak, write, and understand Mandarin from the school that I spent 15 years of my life in, I wasn't able to understand certain cultural references nor pick up a "Taiwanese" accent. Although I am (generally) accepted by the some local students here and wasn't subjected to the treatment that you discussed, I always felt there was a fine line drawn between overseas Chinese and local students. I've always had a hard time to describe it. Maybe it's due to differences in academics, culture, and languages, but I have come around to accept it as part of the studying abroad experience. It's an adjustment. Thank you so much for sharing. It means the world to know that us international students are not alone.

hi! may i know the route to the mountain? which bus and where you start using taxi until the snowy location? thanks in advance <3
This video just made me change my perspective on many things, thank you, really. I think you're powerful and I hope you never give up.
As a Thai, i really want to give you a warm hug and congratulate your graduation, and I hope you will have great success on the step up to a new chapter of your life. กอดๆ
If you need to find happiness, come back to Thailand baby it's our home, welcome you as always😘
As a Korean myself who is currently studying in the States, I can definitely relate to what you might have been feeling. First, I know how it feels to be in a place where you don’t feel like you belong, and second, I can imagine what you had to go through around people who experienced the harsh Korean university application process and might see international students as different and not fully accept them. I wish you the best in the next chapter of your life.
