Every Second Counts in a Home Fire, Practice Your Escape Plan
Why the fuck would you include 25 mins of fucking NOTHING?!!!???
Do you purge air out after you make a repair to an existing system?
Is on fire
I urge every citizen of United States to install water sprinklers in their homes and protect loved ones
I’ve seen videos of fire pits exploding because of moisture build up .. How can you prevent this from happening?
It all starts at this time 24:16
personally, i feel interconnected smoke alarms are more hassle than they are worth. unless you live in a mansion, you can hear any smoke alarm from any other location in a house. ours trigger out of the blue for some reason and almost destroy our hearing. identifying the initiating smoke alarm in a panic when they are all blasting ear-splitting beeps is impossible. i have to pull each one off the ceiling and disconnect it, and pull its battery, one by one. it's a real annoyance. we're going to non-interconnected. i.e. clipping the red or orange wire!
I zoomed out to watch starting where the notation said you could see smoke, 11:36 or something. I watched those houses like a Snow Falcon for 20 minutes and saw nothing, then realized the vid had been stopped when i zoomed the screen 20 min earlier. So i was pretty much staring at a picture.
Interesting that the garage door partially opened early in the video
It was such a beautiful house
16:00 skip there to see the smoke 19:19 skip there to see the fire 🔥 25:00 skip there to see the fire start burning the garage
Fire starts at like 25:00
Down in Ohio
ur not funny kiddo
Well mine only made it 8 years but thanks for the simple video.
Good video - thank you! Also, though, do NOT suggest throwing old batteries in the garbage! They should be recycled/properly disposed of through the local waste management company. An efficient and easy way to do this is to use a special cardboard box and mark it "used batteries." Then, simply add old batteries to it until it's time to call the waste management outfit in order to get that special electronic waste, etcetera, pickup 👍...because we have enough bad stuff brewing in our landfills as it is. It is, in fact, the law in many jurisdictions that one must properly expose of toxic waste; the most commonly known among them being old motor oil/transmission fluid/brake fluid.
Looks like more stupid city mandated trash. All at our expense. I've always had the old battery powered ones that were flat, and don't look like some ugly lump you'd see at a hotel. They work fine. They even beep when they're going dead. No need for this wired crap. If the city wants it, let THEM pay for it. Out of their own personal pockets not the taxpayer.
Show me the powers out The battery is backup when the power goes out And that doesn't mean smoke detectors still green If the power is The lights the green light will be gone
Wow
I started getting the chirping without the wired unit installed .
Before the fire started, someone was sitting in the left corner of the garage smoking, which I didn't notice until I zoomed in.
Thanks for the video.
So, did no one in the entire neighborhood have a garden hose? My first response has been, in the past, and would have been, in this case, to grab a hose and start spraying the fire until the fire department got there. I've done this like four times in the past, with structure fires, grass fires and a hay bail fire. It seems people are just clueless these days!
That alarmed fire protecter is probably there because they do not want someone with dementia to pull the alarm and cause a major evacuation involving health risk
Cednh
The point of the video was as slow coming as the firemen were in putting out the fire. None of them seemed to be in a hurry, they just moseyed along, bringing out the hoses, getting things ready. What's up with that?
Always donate to your fire stations.
You are amazing!!! I was searching for a compatible smoke detector " FIRST ALERT SC9120B Corded Electric Combination Alarm. I ordered the above twice and received it with an Expired date " 2023 Dec 28". I will view your video again to note the model you used that came with an adapter. Mine has a three pin.
I think that’s when they were made and you have to figure plus ten years or something for the first alert. I thought the same thing. Double check though. I could be wrong.
@@chrislukas6414 - Date of manufacturer
Literally the best thing I ever saw !!! A genuine informational masterpiece delivered with all the precision of the 8 track and the technological wonder you would only expect from 1970s dupont , the same people who brought you lead gas and ddt pesticide , the narrator should get the Nobel price for killing it !!!!!!
pause it on 27:12😳☠💀
Look at the person
If you have low turnout. Put in a few sprinklers.
Jesus, not even a fucking garden hose to try to help save your house? RIDICULOUS
You should. Really? Cut the video down because it takes all until 25 minutes for it. To even show anything who wants to sit. Waiting for 25 minutes. Watching nothing trim the video down. It's so too long for watching nothing. It doesn't even start until 25;25 Leaving sixteen minutes of actual footage
So….. How long did it take the HOA to fine them for un-authorized smoke ?
27:10 look in left bottom corner then watch did the dog go inside the house?😰😥😥😥😓😓😓
Average percentage of video watched by your viewers: 3% 💀
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤COooooooooo
yea, I heard that chirp at the end...
Would that work for an actual fire system that you might find in a AFC home ?
My grandpa sent this video to me when I was 7 years old. Weird bit of childhood nostalgia 😯
11:56
stop with the ohio memes 😐👎👎
i had bad smoke alarm wire, can i install new one with out wire
How do you find the right adapter?
If you wear your chain strap on wildland with no helicopters near your a ducer 😂
What happened?
Not sure
Awesome advice ... I also was worried I had to fiddle with the adapter cables ... now it is just switched and rock-n-roll..
Click bait
I find it funny how the guy at 27:25 still had the curtesy to not run on the lawn 😂
These are designed so poorly. How many people just live without them because they do nothing but chirp and go off randomly? The poor design, that they cannot easily be reset and silenced, costs lives
The newest ones are much better... Using photoelectric sensor rather than the ionizing type. Technology Connections has a good video explaining the sensor types.
😮
