Is reading that important? I have a 32 composite with a 35 in math, 34 in science, 32 in english, but only a 27 in reading. Is there any chance I could get in with that, also a 4.4 GPA.

rising sophomore here, appreciate the vid. may update comment in a couple years saying what college i committed to. stats r 4.0 GPA, class ranking currently 2/156 students (will change soon as I plan on taking more rigorous courses), as for my ECS there’s a lot. Varsity Tennis, Quiz Team, FCCLA, multiple upcoming neuroscience internship/research projects, some clubs, tutoring, bunch of leadership positions, voluntering at kettering, insta account w 20k+ followers, and that’s it

My sister got into Stanford , I personally don't care to go to Stanford.... SO besides all the perquisite stats and numbers, extracurriculars, she approached the whole thing HOLISTICALLY, as told by her college consultant who is an alumni of Stanford ... She was specifically told NOT to have this "Stanford or Bust" mentality...Rather just do your best at and with the thing you can actually care about and take very seriously ...At the end she kept her options open and flexible , was accepted to handful of IVYs, and other top tier UNIs, compared and went with Stanford ONLY because it fit her the best AND not because it was the "best" school or DREAM school to go to

For MS admission what matters more? High school scores or undergrad scores?

I had this video on my playlist back in 2020 because I had a sudden dream that I'm gonna be able to go to stanford... 😭😭 I have great grades and all but it's just isn't possible for me..

Guys do NOT do 10 practice SAT/ACT tests in 10 days. Your performance will tank after day 4 or so. Space out this practice so that you have a few days of rest between practice tests

Can you actually join stanford if you're not that involved in extra curricular activities?

Stanford is my dream college, and I’m pretty serious about it. I own a million sweaters, jackets, posters etc, I have a 4.0 gpa, do sports, extracurriculars, Technology competitions, and more and I’m only in my early MS years. If anyone has any tips for app essays or anything else lmk!

The official main entrance is Palm Drive of of El Camino, but the more common way to get in is Galvez Street, across from Town and Country Village.

Thank you currently i am going into 6th grade and really want to get into Stanford because that it has the strongest psychology program. I really like psychology and am planning to practice doing some of these things in middle school when i start. Because middle school is the best practice round out there. So this really helped. This only perpetuates a toxic college admissions culture. Stanford is cool and all but don’t hyperfocus your life on trying to get into one school. Enjoy your high school years and college will work itself out
