Fabulous story! Oh so many take outs! As ever, love your great questions Wes! ❤
Tremendous, hanx Wes. Lovely lady, amazing story on: Persistence, take it step by step. Be nice. Take care of yourself. Focus on the one thing. Bounce back xx
Really enjoyed this one Wessie Boy!!
Thank you. Great interview. So much information and lots of take-aways to work with.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hanx Tremendous Wes. Tremendous Geoff was quite an eye opening, really humble chap... "My time will come Concentrate, do not be buried in the past Push disappointments to one side This too shall pass" XX
2 Legends for that 🔥 side chat 😊 Biggest takeaway for me is when Sir Geoff said the importance of moving on quickly in whatever we do both success and the challenging periods
What a refreshing raw and honest talk which as Brad says if he can do it why not you so whats stopping us 💪💪💪
Superb conversation and truly inspiring story. Biggest Takeaway for me is this.. Follow your own path even if you don't have the answers and having Passion can get you a long way 🔥🔥🔥
What a lovely down to earth guy. Matter of fact and old school - just get on with it! Sometimes it feels like that's just what we need to hear. Great interview
Just watched back so my 2 big takeaways from this fantastic podcast Trust in your own path even if you don't have all answers as you can figure it out as you go along Power of Passion can get you a long way in whatever you decide to do especially when life gets tough
I'm not a football fan, but found the interview grounded with some excellent nuggets of information and learning.
It's really an excellent episode.
I'm not really a fan of football but I am a fan of wes linden so I enjoyed this episode all the same 🤩 thanks wes x
Gosh, each speaker just gets better! There's so much that Brad Burton gives here. Listened to it twice on my walk! Feel energised by this. Thank you! 🎉😃👌👏👍🏆
Wow! Listened again when I made the time to focus. Absolutely fabulous. How long would you hold on to a hot coal? Be you & do it! I can't quantify how this spoke to me. So good and a reminder to think of all the positive things in life, let the rest go & live now with energy, passion & belief in you!
"They" told me that I couldn't go back to school aged 37. Then they told me that even if I did go back I'd either fail or drop out. Then they told me that even if I passed my A-Levels the grades wouldn't be good enough for university. Then, when I passed the exams and got into university, they said that 1st Year mature students DON'T start their own watch business - it's not the done thing. Then they said that if I started my own brand of watches that I'd be bankrupt in six months because (wait for it) "nobody wears watches anymore." I'm pleased to say that 13 and a half years later the vast majority of them congratulated me on my degree and also bought watches from me. They point to the brand name and tell people "I know that fella" I've got no complaints.
Interesting interview with some good advice. Thank you.
excellent
🏆 Best episode so far 🏆 Thoroughly enjoyed you chatting to this dude Wes! "If I had my dream I'd be sat smoking bongs all weekend so i had to think how my money could benefit other people " 😄 so many good lessons!
What a brilliant interview, and definitely the perfect remedy to anyone having a bad day. Never give up on a bad day, and don’t ever be put off by what others are doing. It’s your own race, and you will get to the finish so long as you believe in yourself!! Well done Wes for asking all the right questions! I’m now subscribed and look forward to watching the next episode. ❤
Delighted that you got real value from this!
Wes, you’d have to be a very unresponsive person not to get something out of it. Thank you. I am biased of course! 😊
Nice Bella said at end more philosophical conversation Have faith and trust. There is always hope. Lean into that courage. People are not supportive as it embarrasses them as they have not achieved anything. Just start. Do people fear success?.....(one of my challenges sadly) She s big believer in fate Control the controllables Look forward to next one. Hanx Tremendous Wes xx 🦻🦻🦻🦻🌻🌻🌻🌻⚓⚓⚓⚓
I enjoyed listening to this interview. Frank is a down to earth person with plenty to give to the world. Thank you for talking to Linden..
An inspirational lady who has had the courage to live life to the full in spite of huge challenges. A wonderful podcast to listen to.
In interesting interview with someone who has been consistent through the different journeys they have been on in their life. Definitely would recommend people listen to it.
From the heart a great insight into Frank’s life
Thank you for this interview Wes. Lots to learn in a relaxed and relatable way.
Lots to learn from this one. Amazing achievements in her still young life. The wisdom from her experiences lead to some great life lessons. Awesome. Best phrase in there... just say yes, and figure out the rest on the way. If your instinct is too go for it, then it's a yes because if it was a definite no. Your gut would tell you that too 😅
What an incredible lady . Old head and heart on young shoulders . Amazing and thought provoking interview Wes ,guiding Bella , who was openly willing to show vulnerability and let us know that even with her incredible achievements none of us are perfect . Life is truly a journey and always stay in our own path so as not to miss our opportunities is great advice . Really felt affinity and parallels with this lovely lady as I came from a family with 2 very successful siblings before me so always striving to catch up I changed the family “path” completely by becoming self employed at 23 and for years my Dad asked when I was going to get a “proper job” . Now I realise it came from a place of love but for me it was definitely being able to take control of my life and as Bella says “take control of the controllables , don’t judge yourself ,don’t be perfect be human and be kind “
Brilliant, thanks for bringing us amazing this story 👍👍💪💪♥
Oh WOW! Wes, these interviews are just so helpful and inspiring. Although I'd heard Beth be interviewed before, like she said at the end, you asked some very philosophical questions that would help people from all walks from life. Keep them coming!!! ❤😊❤
Really enjoyed this...lots of useful insights! Thanks so much Andrew & Wes
I've grown up with that guy always there on TV being humble and real. Love him for being him. You're so right saying he felt like a friend, that's just how I feel about him. 😊
I can't look for excuses - brilliant
In Frank Bruno's 3 world title challenges and the Bonecrusher Smith fight, Witherspoon, Lewis...in the two Tyson fights he froze a bit and didn't let his hands go), he put in good performances and ended up losing...but the one he won was probably against the scariest and toughest guy, Oliver McCall who is genuine tough guy of the heavyweight division, the victory over McCall was a more impressive achievement than if he had been Tyson in my view. A lot of people don't really know how tough Oliver McCall is, former sparring partner of Mike Tyson and a granite jaw, and we saw how he sparked out Lennox Lewis at his peak...and only lost the rematch due to his drugs/mental issues and he was letting Lennox Lewis take free shots on him without fighting back and Lewis still couldn't put him down.
Good knowledge!
One of my favourite ever sportsmen. Watched him as a child and he was as inspirational back then. Great to hear him talk so openly about his battles and I’m so glad he’s overcame them all. Legend. Great interview Wes
Yes, he's very much a childhood favourite and I'm delighted you found it inspiring!

Haha yes, he's great! So glad you enjoyed it!
He is a simple and humble man and this was a great interview that brought out the best in the Legend that is Frank Bruno. You pulled no punches in asking those difficult questions and in true Frank Style he came back from each defeat or challenge with a resilient attitude. It was a heartwarming interview with someone that everyone loves and respects for all he achieved

You are a beautiful sparkly diamond Michelle . Life experiences are truly just that ..part of your soul journey I believe ….Some people’s paths are so much harder than others . Incredible lady 🙏
You're right - she's a real diamond ❤
Be quiet enough to listen to what your heart is whispering to you. What a beautiful wise phrase to remember.
