FINALLY someone that knits like me!! I swear people worth the yarn on their forefinger, just balancing there, and I can’t do it lol. I spend more time trying to get that down because it looks like it’s faster but MAN I can not for the life of me get it down!!
Bonjour, je viens d.acheter sur etsy ( the confort sweater ), je vais le tricoter avec de l.alpaga et soie merci de vos explications, hâte de le réaliser
Patern please
Thanks for the very clear explanation! I do have a question though: if I am required to do some short rows following a pattern as a leftie (so working in the opposite direction), do I have to do something else differently or can I just use your technique to do the short rows?
I too had difficulty reading black print at the top of screen. Larger print , another color , or a light colored garment may be better.
Thank you for the feedback!!
Can you make a video doing M1l and M1r but in the ws of the work?
I bought the pattern and I wanted to know if I would receive a video?
i haven't seen it on youtube usually they have a tutorial with it but they don't seem to have one
I have had this pattern for about a year and am finally ready to start working on it...this may be a dumb question, but on the main color rows, do you just carry color B and use when needed? It might make more sense when I start it, but I just wanted to ask. I can't wait to start! =)
congratulations .... i love you
This video is SO clear!! Thank you with all my heart for the LEFT HAND perspective! 🤗
Hello your explanations are just perfect, thank you very much!😊
Hi. I’m working on the Essential Sweater and am ready to start the German short rows. I am confused by the statement to ignore the asterisk. Does this mean that I’m not to turn the work and wrap the first stitch via theGSR technique? What does the asterisk mean? I’m confused to say the least. Any help would be much appreciated.
How do i wrap the stitch if i have ended my row with a K1b?
Does it matter which way you wrap around the needle?
❤
Congratulations
soo helpful, thank you!!
Bellissimo, grazie🧘♂️
Love everything about this video. Totally my vibes.
comment above says it. ❤
😘😘
Oh my gosh, everything about this is so cozy and warm and safe and makes me want to cry, wow. I just love that the little one poking the knitting needle and holding your hand. What a suprisingly beautiful short
Aw thanks so much friend, your comment warmed my heart💕
Do you have a left handed guide Book to purchase to show how to create sweaters ?
No, I don't sorry - but that would be awesome!
I have this same 'yarn winder', I guess I never thought I could use it like this, thank you for posting this, I'll definitely keep it in mind for jobs I have to tear apart & start over on :)
Thank you, friend! Oh yes, it makes it a much quicker process - the saddness is over in minutes, ha! 😂💗
That's the cutest!.
Thanks so much! 💕
Hello! I’m trying to knit The Snuggles Sweater but I’m confused as to how to keep the end of round stitch marker in place when completing raglan sleeve increases.
This video was so efficient, clear, and calming. Thank you!!
Oh that was such a sweet comment, made my morning - thank you! 💕💕
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you!😘
So sweet ❤️
Thank you! 💕
I feel that I can only truely knit with my baby fast asleep on me 😂
Haha saaaame! 😂💕
Je me suis ennuyée de vos belles vidéos!!! :) Du Québec
Thanks so much, sweet friend! 💗
Way to fast😢
If you click the gear in the lower corner of the video you can change the playback speed. I usually do .5 which slows it down nicely. :-)
Oops sorry!!! @LadyEarlene gave a great tip though! Have a lovely week!
Did you also do a P1yo demonstration somewhere???
No, because "p1, yo" is just working one purl stitch before working the yarn over, so it's easy!
This is a beautiful pattern! I would like to knit it a little narrower, maybe 8 or 9 inches wide. Can you please tell me how many stitches less I should cast on.
Thanks so much!! 💕 Sorry, I can't remember I made it so long ago.
Sério que vc pretende que alguém entenda isto?
Wishing you well! 💓
I want the pattren pleaseee❤
Sure thing! 💕 Here it is: darlingjadore.com/product/the-classic-coin-purse-knitting-pattern/
I can't read the instructions on my screen because they are in black writing on a dark background!
Yes, this is frustrating!
Sorry! Thanks for the feedback!
@@beebookandcandle Sorry! Thanks for the feedback!
@@DarlingJadore no worries! I absolutely love your written patterns. Videos are hard!
Wonderful tutorial, thank You :-) please tell me, ho do I have to adapt the pattern for different number of stitches? For example 72 due to the fact that i knit with 5mm needles.

Hi, I bought the Lola bag pattern from your Etsy shop, I have asked to upgrade to the premium package. I have emailed twice now, but still haven’t heard anything. Can you help please
Hi Jas, thanks for your order and I'm so sorry about that!!! I've had my hands super full with my babies, but I'll tell my hubby to find your email and set you up with the premium package today! 💓 Thanks for your patience and again sorry for the delay!
Hola me gusta esa idea voy a ver si la implementó gracias
thank you for these informative videos for us beginners, very thankful! I'm making your fireside throw blanket pattern, with your content I'm confident I'll love the end result. I have another pattern of yours but after these two, I'll definitely be buying more
Oh thank you so much - brings a smile to my face! Hope you enjoy The Fireside Throw, happy crafting! 💕
Brilliant! I've been knitting for 30+ years but am only now trying a top down pattern and I don't think I'll ever go back to traditional patterns! I had heard that there can be a space under the arm but, I bet this technique solves that problem!!! Thanks so much!
Oh I'm so happy to hear that, top-down sweaters are so much fun, enjoy! 💕
This is really difficult to see. Can't see whether you're picking up the front part of the cast on stitch or the back 🤔
Your definitely right, I’m working on this pattern right now as well and I think it works off better with the back part of the cast on but I’m not sure. If you get around to trying to do it with the front please let me know
Me gustaría ver el paso a paso de la bandana
I found your video in your instruction manual on Etsy. The scarf is a bit difficult for me yet but I keep practising. This viseo is a huge ice breaker for me. Thank you so much!
Oh I'm thrilled to hear it, thanks so much!
I understand the wrapping technique but I don't understand where the GSR stitches are supposed to go on the total pattern or where the increases are supposed to go. I've set up the marker but the ssm-s for the row don't correspond to where the markers are set up. I wish you'd include a picture or diagram of the sweater showing where the increases and wraps go. Is there a diagram anywhere? Help!
I'm so disappointed that you never got a reply for this question as I've been trying to figure this out for the last half an hour. There's no way the increases go where the 8 stitches are isolated, because wouldn't those be for the sleeves? But that's where the first GSR would technically start, following the pattern. Logically, wouldn't the 30 isolated stitches be for the front and back?
@@ToriCockerill Hi! did you figure it out? the only increases are the raglan increases, those are done before and after every stitch marker. You’re turning your work on the portion that will be the front of your sweater, so step 1 you start from the beginning of the round, knit the sleeve and part of the front, then turn your work. On step 2 you work part of the front again, the sleeve again, the back, the other sleeve, part of the front and turn your work. Step 3 you knit part of the front, the sleeve, the back, and stop at the end of round stitch marker (before the sleeve). Hope it helps!
@@luciaottomano966 WOW THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH THIS REALLY HELPED I WAS ALSO CONFUSED ON STEP 1 WHERE IT SAYS KNIT 1 SSM,M1L, I THOUGHT THAT WAS AT THE BEGINNING ON THE END OF THE ROUND MARKER WHAT YOU EXPLAINED IS CLEAR AS DAY…tHANKS AGAIN
I have watched every nupp tutorial on You Tube. Yours was the only one I have seen that broke it down so I understand it. Thank you!
So glad to hear this! Thanks so much, Joan! <3
Why is the first slip pw? That is difficult than I’ve been taught
Just how a ssk decrease is worked! 😊
Très très joli!!! Merci beaucoup!
Thank you! 😊
What's the benefit of the first slip being pw? I've never seen that before
Not sure if there's a particular benefit; it's just how the ssk decrease is worked! 😊
I’ve always seen both stitches slipped knitwise in a ssk
I'd always seen the two stitches slipped knitwise until this video, then later I saw a tutorial with the first being knitwise and the *second* being purlwise. I think all the ways are correct, it just doesn't give the same look. With the version in the video (purlwise-knitwise-knit) I realized the left of the loop ends up bigger.
Why is the result of sl1 kw wyif the same as the purlwise wyif?
