they ruined the damn game, honestly was dead from day 1. the game feels like a chore now, its the same damn thing all the time. Insanely op weapon comes out, insane RNG and GRIND to get it, lots of people get it, and it gets nerfed. the game feels like a chore with how much grind it took to get the aeriastra, not to mention grinding is very inconsistent bc the rng. They kept hyping up the alt path when nobody wanted it, and not to mention the event meta. The animations and the effects never got updated, so we were stuck with a bland 2016 looking ahh animations and "sfx and gfx". Overrall, the whole game is just rng, useless hype for a new update, or just slop nerfs that add nothing to the table. when I was grinding for equinox, i legit threw away all my responsibilities and threw my whole life into getting every equinox item. new item release after another, i kept pouring so much time into it. and that drive was because I didnt worry about what loadouts to choose, i just needed my trusty slicer and seraphim armor and i was good to go. i didnt worry about biomes, cuz my friends were so active and had the same grinding drive as me. I didnt worry about events cuz i thought they were just underpowered slop. and now things have changed and the game has turned into a premium payout grinder. I didnt feel accomplished after i got the aeriastra, it wasnt even that good visually and statistically. i didnt feel accomplished after getting reality collapse, because its overshadowed by eq melee and fang. It just doesnt give the same grind drive that keeps you playing anymore because most of the new items just suck, or are too meta but you have to get 219391 blinding orbs.
