Different kevel so good.
A pretty women with a pretty voice. Forgive me for my perceived s-e-xism, as I'm a boomer. Well done Ms. Nyro.
I like the sound. And that is how I rate music. If it calls to me, and yes the video production is appealing as well. So, from this unknown rando from the Interwebs, well done!
Brilliant
This was great! Most underrated!
She was a tortured soul like Joni and Stevie are. Happiness is just out of reach. They used music to express their feelings for us to enjoy.
Such beautiful music
Love Laura so much
Unfortunately, the rainbow was coopted by the ungodly
👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷 lindo demais !
Todd Rundgren is so influenced by this buietful woman.
This version never ever fails to bring a tear to my eye. Love her singing voice. Love her haunting music and lyrics that have stuck with me forever, songs like Stoned Soul Picnic I'd sing as a lullaby to my infant children.
One of my very favorites by her. Though that would leave too many out. Still it made my day hearing her. This song is in another realm. Thank You.
I love the different types of modern art you"ve incorporated with images of Laura Nyro. She was a fantastic, individual songwriter and underappeciated singer. Thankfully her songs weren't overlooked. She was a singular talent.
I really like your ❤❤ original sound it's great
Wow!
Incredible talent
Beautiful, stunning imagery and homage to Laura Nyro, a child and music artist from the Bronx, whose music captured the soulful, romantic essence of the inner city like Spanish Harlem. ❤this!
She had a short, but brilliant life and music career that left a haunting, nostalgic legacy among her admirers. ❤her music.
NYC hustle, bustle and skyline, modern art, Laura Nyro on the piano singing this classic-just a perfect vibe and nostalgia for big city folks like me. ❤this!
Her voice fits this.
So innovative Fairchild..,
This is the BEST version of this song!
I have been a Nyrotic since 1969 and still to this day, at 73, I idolize her. I just subscribed and love the real pix of Laura ❤️
I was introduced to Nyro when I was in hs - now I’m 71 and still love her music like the first time I heard her. Her music is so time less 💕
Yea man.
Gerry Goffin, the best lyricist in the music business.
The Bill Evans pics, & the Miles Davis shots as well add so much to the video. The audio also is mixed with such care. Thank you. 💯🎧
Great tune.

her voice is the canyons of Manhattan late on a July night; it's who we are and will always be. eternal
Why don't you use photos of Laura? I have a problem of images of not Laura.
He does use pics of Laura. And it’s his video, his vision, not yours. It’s a music video, with superb audio. Why not find something to like and mention that too? If you can’t find a something good to say , only something you don’t like , that’s not constructive. It’s inconsiderate.
Wished laura was singing
Sad Blue's
Carole King wrote this. Taylor and Laura covered this. But her is so damn for emion
Wished id been the man in the moon
That girl could sing , sadly gone far too soon
First time I've heard the original version. I prefer it to the BS&T one. Thanks for uploading this.
@@jimmybalantyne5545 Laura was 16 when she wrote it.
Beautiful and very jazzy I loved her music. I saw her several times when I was growing up in NY RIP beautiful women!
This is a wonderful song I love it , people don't know about Laura, she was without doubt the most magnificent singer musician composer ever
Sounds beautiful.❤and the arc of your videos are amazing. 🎉
I Love You so, and Always Will🙏🏻R.I.P.🙏🏻💚
💚
Oh man
Thank you for putting these videos together
Every shot in Letterbox , dreamy sound, a floating secondary.image that changes opacity for motionn and a slight illusion of depth. Way to go.❤
@@peterd.9522 I love your way with words. And thanks!
🌟
I appreciate your support of Ms Nyro. We seem to be in the minority.
Perhaps Laura is (still) avant-garde, and therefore not mainstream. Fairchild ‘s is the only channel ( other than mine ) that’s currently doing Laura videos It’s nice to see new ideas in the works. 💯🎧
Love her. Liked and subscribed.
Great song.. Great vid.. ty
It never occurred to me that the song may be about Laura Nyro. Was it? Has Christopher Cross commented on it?
@@elliotgoldberg5657 no Cross wrote it about a friend of his in the 70s named Laura who died in a car accident. Then it was used as Laura’s Theme on General Hospital. I think its a pretty song.
