So we named our Keystone Cougar 25RDS camper KItty the Camper. We came up with this name because it is a Cougar we could have gone with the name Killer something we heard on the Josh the RV Nerd channel, it was something about Killer Cougar but Killer was a bit too much so Kitty is its name. Anyway, this video was one we made just to commemorate the occasion. We had already spent 3 nights in it...

Join us on a very muggy morning ride as we explore what these trails have to offer. Most of the trails out there are green/easy trails the only blue trails were Dog Hill and G Force. There was a little bit of climbing involved but nothing r...

We took the plunge and purchased a travel trailer. We have been going on camping trips for many years now, always in a tent. I always said I would never buy an RV, to me that just was not camping I am now eating my words. We camped in hot muggy weather and downright cold weather but still no RV for me. At first, we slept on the ground, then we moved up to an air mattress, and then a larger matt...

Chichaqua Valley Paved Trail Review, Des Moines, IA
มุมมอง 19510 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here is another nice paved trail that I did while in Des Moines, Iowa. This was my third time to ride this trail. The first time I rode this I started from the old train station in Bondurant, the next time was from Lake Petocka. This time I took the Gay Lea Wilson trail to Chichaqua. The Gay Lea Wilson trail is nice but I think I enjoyed the Chichaqua a little bit more due mostly to the small t...

Hope yall had a good time camping we don't camp Nov. til March
Yes, we did have a nice time, Thanks for asking. Our winters here in Arkansas are for the most part are pretty mild.
It looks like a overpriced fiberglass fridge, sideways on wheels. No thinks and was it really necessary to name a freaking rv?
Yep I 55. crossed many times.
That was the first for us, we normally always head over the I40 bridge. To me if heading south going over I55 bridge is better than I 40.
I was christened in that church. The school, post office and cemetery were originally on our land. My great grandfather deeded the land for public use. He was the first postmaster in the town. The building was originally a milk house. The cemetery was originally used to house cattle. The school had two classrooms one for lower grades and one for upper grades. Love your picture of the Witch rocks.
I found Echo very fascinating, the old church/school and the cemetery were of particular interest to me. Thank you for sharing.
The breast works were camouflaged behind the cliffs. When Johnson’s army came through the pioneers fled from station and lit fires to make it appear that the pioneer army was much larger than it actually was.
Before I-80 went through, the road you are traveling was part of the old highway into Wyoming. My dad and uncles used to camp at sawmill as children. My dad was nearly run over in the parking space when a semi truck driver decided to park there in the middle of the night. There was very little traffic on the highway those days. He also helped repair the railroad ties in the canyon. If you were to look to the left instead of back up the canyon you would see a brown house sitting a top of the hill. My cousins still live there. The family farm sits below it. We used to hike up behind the cliffs. Echo point was a favorite place as one can see Echo Canyon, the reservoir and the Weber river.

Thank you for sharing that, I'll bet you all had some really great adventures there.
This is very interesting to me as my family is from Echo Junction. They settled in the area in the 1860’s. We are much more familiar with the Mormon trail.
Echo Junction is a great place, thanks for sharing that!
Incredible adventure and information. Thanks for sharing this amazing set of videos.
Thank you
Handheld camera gave me an epileptic seizure. Unwatchable.
I'm a newer rider at 74 years this place is on my bucket list, I was wondering what device on the handlebar you were using and the functions it has, Thanks
It is a Garmin Edge 530. It has a lot of functions, it tracks speed, distance, time, cadence when paired with a cadence sensor, heart rate when paired with a heart rate strap, power when paired with a power meter pedals or crank. It also does GPS and when paired with your phone and using Trailforks will tell you where you are at on the the trail. There is a lot more but those are the functions I mostly use. It's awesome to hear at 74 your getting out there I hope to still be doing this at 74.
@@MaterandTaterAdventures Cool, I wasn't sure if it was just for bikes, I have an old Garmin C60 that works great.
Nice video.
Thank you
Even calendar days on the weekend only--otherwise Monday-Friday you can ride it regardless of even or odd day. Great video, fun trail!
This is so awesome! We’re staying on Lake Hamilton next week and we’ll definitely have to go ride this. Thank you so much!
