Atal Tunnel to Sissu takes 25-30mins to reach...right now there is no snow in Sissu...please subscribe Bondhu!!

We started at 6:30am in the morning from Manali hotel and reached Atal Tunnel at 7:55am...we had stopped at 2 places on the way to Atal Tunnel...one for snow dress and another for clicking snaps...Stay connected bondhu!!

@@Love4Travel what is the rent for snow dress & we have to rent shoe also?

For per pair they charge 250 which includes the dress and shoes . But for gloves you have to take them separately. And it's advisable that you take the gloves...then you would be able to enjoy the snow. Otherwise it will numb your hands.

We travelled on 28th March on a Tiago from Delhi to Manali...next day we were driving on a Maruti Desire of Ravi who is a local of Manali and was our guide

Great idea...Manali is awesome now a days with all the snowfall happening....Mandi to Manali is not much...another 2-2.5hrs drive...so if you want you can reach Manali without any breaking up ... We started at 6:30am and reached by 7:30pm post 2 breaks in between for breakfast and lunch

@@Love4Travel idea is to stretch on day 1 and cover most distance. I cannot drive more than 8 hours a day. Next morning we can drive couple of hours and be in Manali .. fresh to take on the whole day

Yeah in that case you can stay at Mohali or Sunder Nagar as well....

Yeah...we loved it and enjoyed a lot..the road trip was a long pending dream of ours ...we are hoping to go far beyond this place to Leh...normally in India, we need to go to the Himalayas to experience these kind of snowfall and we were really excited...stay connected!!

Hi Dr.Mallik...we took a flight to Bagdogra and then a cab to Darjeeling and Gangtok....most of the road conditions were good except for one or two areas....one while going back to Siliguri from Gangtok as road construction was on....try to have additional 2-3 hrs time inorder to reach Siliguri or Bagdogra...as we went to Darjeeling in Nov it's been a while and may be the road conditions would have improved....hope this info help....please subscribe if possible

Thank you for your comment and for enjoying the road trip...yeah in India we don't get so much of snow and during winter these places are not open for civilians...so this time was the perfect time to enjoy the snow and it was like a dream come true...stay connected and the food was really good at such a height...no complains!!
