I love Ravensburger puzzles because of their pictures, size of the pieces and the click. I don’t like that they don’t include a poster. I am going to try and do a puzzle without sorting because I hate sorting. Thank you so much for this video. Really appreciated

I think I must have OCD as it is really difficult for me to start a puzzle without completing the frame/border first. You are much more flexible than me. I loved watching you do this happy holiday puzzle!

I have the same brand jigsaw puzzle 🧩 you are doing except there is a variety of different shapes. The title says: house cats 🐈‍⬛. I fell in love with that jigsaw puzzle ❤️. I think sorting takes away the fun of doing puzzles. I go through and get the edge pieces out and turn the pieces face up and that’s it.

I just made a winter scenery puzzle and used the same "hack" 😊

That was a nice jolly puzzle. If I find the outside is being tricky I leave it until the end. I vary how I do a puzzle depending on the image. Sometimes I sort to some degree other times I do pick and place.

I just finished the 1,000 piece purple "100 years of Disney Magic" puzzle that Disney put out.... it was awful. I thought it would be good, but the pieces are liars! There are only 2 shapes, which sucks, and you think a piece fits, but it doesn't actually! isn't that crazy!

I recently did a puzzle that had a black background behind a colorful image and when I got to the black (which was 30 or 40% of the puzzle) it got so slow and painful that I decided that I didn't need to finish it. I put it back in the box and sent it on its way. I don't mind doing hard puzzles, but they have to be fun. My hardest puzzle ever was I am Owl, a shaped puzzle of an owl. I averaged 2.06 minutes per piece. Even though there were only 535 pieces, it took forever (18.4 hours). I have spent more time on a single puzzle, but only once, and it had 2000 pieces!

Oh wow, good job! The hardest puzzle that I've ever done was a walk in the park compared to this! It was a 1000 piece gradient puzzle. A lot of it was easygoing, except for the darkest and lightest sections, which were pretty much black and white. I sorted those sections by shape and just tried each piece for fit 🤷🏾

I’ve looked at this one so many times. Glad you decided to tackle it! The hardest puzzle was a four color gradient that I almost shed tears while doing it. 😂😂😂

I love black and white puzzles, I framed one and put it on my stairs wall.

I use metal baking trays with sides for sorting. They are reasonably priced, like they were about $8 for 3 instead of $70+ for plastic puzzle trays - they are such a ripoff.

I think these grid puzzles and those with separate images are far easier to do this with than those that are more difficult images. I am on the 5th section of the 13200 Visionaria by Clementoni. Each section 2204 pieces. I sort edges and basic colours for about half of it then try to assemble those and do the rest by picking from the box. It's worked well. Also did it for the 5000 piece Ravensbuger Bizarre Town one. Depends on the image.

I always do the border, and then I sort color and break it down from there. My wife and I are doing the 5000 piece disney puzzle from ravensburger now.

clearly you don't know what a wooden puzzle is. what you described is a normal wooden puzzle

Missing pieces are a source of real dissatisfaction, but didn't upend our appreciation of this video. So entertaining!!

I once found lost pieces of a puzzle (one of my favorite ones that I did often) about 25 years later (!) in a different puzzle box that had been sitting somewhere in my parent's house. So... didn't give up hope yet! 😄

I never sort. I do chaos puzzling. Dump all the pieces out and go for it. So much fun!

The picture looks really 3d, not even sure if you can achieve that effect with oil paint? Maybe it's an AI motive.
