Unfortunately, systemic discrimination is not confined to race issues. I suffered systemic bias on my job of almost forty years because of my religion. No one ever questioned my devotion to my job, nor my performance levels. But, I faced several attempts to have me fired over drummed up issues, but senior corporate management saved me and the union fought for me and I got to retire at a proper age with my pension intact. One reason to work at a union business, I guess, huh? My heart goes out to anyone that is treated unfairly due to any form of discrimination.

Although this is fiction , it does happen, not as blatantly as this video. On so many flights I have noticed the racist attitudes of some white flight attendants. Smart remarks if a non white ask for a 2nd complimentary drink or a pillow, blanket on a long flight . Racism is alive and thriving, in every entity, so many refuse to believe or acknowledge it.

Every one should be treated with respect and dignity. The manager and the hostess should be fired. But she cost everyone the Job. including the cleaning crew and the cook which where most likely underpaid people maybe even dark skinned like her. She took it one step to far.
