How we feed our plecos using Plecoceramics DIY Paste
The advantages of using the Plecoceramics approach of feeding plecos
1. The ingredients we use are as close as possible to what plecos eat in their natural habitat
2. We use actual benthic freshwater algae as an algal supplement.
3. We add freshwater sponges to our DIY paste. Freshwater sponges are actively consumed by the plecos in the wild.
4. Gammarus is an essential ingredient of our paste. It's a freshwater crustacean. Gammarus contains a lot of carotenes. In turn, carotene promotes fish growth and improves their immune system.
5. Insects meal is another key ingredient of our food. It is well known that insect activation season, based on insects with a water-based larval stage, triggers breeding.
6. By spreading our paste on the stones We create a biofilm on the surface of the stones. This format of food supplying is closely imitates the eating behavior in the wild

How to feed 1. Mix powder and water; we recommend to use the 1:3 ratio (1 part of food for 3 parts of water). L046 are what got me into the hobby. Beauties! I love all of them to tell you the truth.

It depends on species. For bristlenose plecos we normally do it on 4th day and for Hypancistrus and Peckoltia species on a day 7th)
